Mapletail hurried over to Hawkfur. "Did you hear what happened? No one's brought me any fresh kill in ages!" he grumbled.

"I'll go get you some." Hawkfur said to Mapletail. She ran over to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a plump mouse, and ran back to Mapletail. "Here you go." She said, setting the mouse down.

[Ser'reth]

"Thanks," the elder said, digging into his food.

Rosefur walked over to the two. "Sorry, Mapletail. I forgot to bring you something." She turned to Hawkfur, "Thanks for taking care of this old fleabag for me," she said to the deputy. Mapletail growled. He finished his meal and asked Rosefur what was happening, motioning toward the medicine cat den.

"Moonblaze was attacked by a two-leg," she replied.

Willowstar went into her den for a few moments to think, "Hawkfur!" she called as she poked out her head through the litchen the hang in the entrance, "come here for a moment."

"Moonblaze, I have to go to the Moonstone, and I won't be back for a day. I'll place these poppy seeds here if you feel pain, but only two every once in a while." Stonewhisker said as he set the small seeds next to his nest, "I'll ask Leafpaw to come and fetch you fresh moss before I leave aswell."

Gorsepelt curled up into her new nest in the nursury, she felt all big and clumsy as she did so. It felt empty in there since Waterwhisker had Mistykit running around outside all day. she stood for a second and poked her head out to call Waterwhisker, "Are you going to come in for the night?"

Moonblaze nodded and closed his eyes. Within moments, he was sleeping deeply.

Rosefur watched as Gorsepelt entered the nursery. "Looks like we can expect some new kits soon," she smiled at Mapletail.

Mapletail glanced at the nursery and grunted before retreating to his den.

"Old grump," Rosefur snorted.

Stonewhisker waited till Moonblaze was asleep to make his traveling herbs. he at them quickly and trotted out of the den, then throught the entrance. the air seemed still as he reached the thunderpath, but the rawr of an oncoming Monster was still evident. He grimmaced as it passed, spraying fowl smelling dirt in his fur. He ran across, the thunderpath and was nearing the second forest were the moontree lay, when a mew startled him, he turned to see a small white cat with black spots and a cream tabby staring at him.

Rosefur glanced at Mistykit and Waterwhisker, feeling a smile creep over her face as the kit played.

Mistykit saw Rosefur's smile. She laughed and went over to her. "Wanna play too?!" PLEASE!

"Sure," Rosefur chuckled. She croutched forward and swatted playfully at Mistykit's ear.
