Nightshadow snarled, then he yowled as Hawkfang cracked his neck. Shadepetal opened her eye slightly, she was covered in blood, especially her underbelly, which was where Nightshadow had sliced her.

[walk.]

Hawkfang said, "So Nightshadow, would you like to die or not?" he grinned at Shadepetal. Pondweed came running forward with cobwebs and smiled at the injured warrior. He gently layed the cobwebs onto her belly and across her eye and murmered, "You are going to be alright now."

[wolf ;;]

Nightshadow growled. "Kill me if you like, it won't make a difference."

Shadepetal looked at her brother, then she nodded to Pondweed.

[walk.]

Pondweed mewed, "Skypaw, please can you get me some poppy seeds."

Hawkfang nodded and mewed, "Gladly." and the warrior gave a final twist.

[wolf ;;]

Skypaw nodded, and he went to the medicine cat den, moments later he returned with some poppy seeds.

Nightshadow didn't yowl in pain this time, and his body fell limp.

[walk.]

Hawkfang kicked his body to the side and muttered, "May the dark forest accept you a brave warrior, even if you were evil." he looked over at his sister and smiled and mewed, "Well, you are free now Shadepetal!"

Pondweed nodded in thanks and handed a poppy seed to Shadepetal.

[wolf ;;]

Shadepetal smiled and nodded to what hawk fang said, then she looked at Pondweed. "Do I have to have a poppy seed?"

[walk.]

Pondweed shook his head and mewed, "You don't have to but it will take away the pain a lot more." Emberstar appeared on High rock and mewed, "We haven't had patrols in over 30 moons and it is time I brought them in again! I want two border patrols and three hunting patrols, Foxgaze will lead a border patrol as will Patchfang and also Brazenfire, Autumnsky and Moonheart will take three cats each outs hunting, one apprentice per patrol."

[wolf ;;]

Foxgaze flicked his tail and nodded, then he, Moonheart, Autumnsky and Patchfang started to gather cats to go on their patrols.

Shadepetal flicked an ear, then she nodded and ate the poppy seed.

[walk.]

Brazenfire nodded and mewed, "Oakstorm, Sunfrost and Fastpaw will come with me!"

Pondweed murmered, "That's it..." he put the small cat over his shoulder and carried her into his den. Emberstar looked at her worriedly but Pondweed nodded calmly and he became more relaxed.
