It was grey outside, the damp, humid air leaking through the half closed window. I shivered as the door swung open, a gust of wind leaping past me. A firgure stood there, glaring at me with no eyes. I could feel it, and now I was shivering because of this beast, not the sudden bursts of cold hair pumping through the gaps in the door. It was about 5''3, it's shadow stretching to my toes. It's wings opened, lifting it silently up into the sky. It's huge tail shutting the door as it sprinted off. I sat there in awe. What on earth was it?

Factfile::
Base colours are often pastel or dark. There are exeptions though.
Huge mutations in Leftopa occur in about 1/20, smaller mutations happen in about 1/10
Personality's vary, though they tend to be boisterous and not scrared of most things
They often get along with other animals, but not other's of there own species.
Leftopa's names often have a double letter in them, eg. Tellia, Genni etc... but there are exeptions
They mainly feed on small animals such as Mice, rats, anything they can get hold of and will rarely eat human food. They have a wierd addiction to minty toothpaste, mint tictacs, mint leaves even. They just love mint. (Few exeptions)
They will try to stay away form large areas of water or empty land.
Quite strong , not very agile.
They cannot comunicate among humans very well and are not domestic as such, but will stay with a certain person if they gain their trust.
They can grow up to 5''8
The youngsters are called Lefty untill age three, where they become Leftopa.
Lefty stay with their fathers, and let the females gather food and a place to sleep.
They have about six hours of sleep per 24 hours.
Humans react in many different ways to seeing them, so that is up to you but they prefer staying away from them.
