Well according to Harry Potter and Lord of the rings, the main character must be a normal-ish person with black hair. He must have a loyal male companion. There must be a wise old wizard with a long grey beard (and a weird name) and the bad guy must be evil beyond compare. In order to defeat the bad guy, the main character must destroy some inanimate object. There also has to be a cool guy with long black hair (Aragorn/Sirius) and some main characters must die. There should also be two characters who are very close and act as the comic relief. There must be MAGIC! This is imperative. Oh, and let's not forget the evil character who's name must be like Worm[insert body part that begins with "t"]. If you follow these guidelines, you can make a successful epic fantasy :3

I just watched Return of the King last night, and here's what I noticed about the scene with Mt. Doom.
1. Instead of saying, "I will not do what I came to do. The Ring is mine!" Frodo just said, "The ring is mine!"
2. He put the ring on the wrong finger! It was supposed to be the middle finger.
3. Gollum didn't scream precious from inside the volcano!

Haha, I've given up nitpicking the movies because it always ends up with me yelling at the screen.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause-and-effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.....stuff."
