I get dressed and lazily brush my annoyingly messy hair before heading down to the common room. I don't even stop; instead I walk through the portrait hole, and down the steps of Gryffindor Tower. Eventually I make it to the Great Hall, taking a seat between Sirius and, sadly, Peter.
"Morning, guys," I greet, yawning.
Peter smiles in hello, food in his mouth preventing him from using the more efficient means of speech.
