Minty is a little dragon who is pretty stubborn and brave. She is like a tomboy, and is often mistaken to be a boy by strangers. She doesn't think it matter though, because she is self-confident and know who she is. She isn't mean either, she only knows what she wants and think about everything. She loves to help and is a really good friend that will never leave someone behind if something dangerous happen. She is the little warrior who will fights to the end for her family and friends.
Minty wrote: Hey everyone! Since Cake asked me to told you all my story so she got a better chance to be the one who adopt me, I really wanted to help. So here I am, and I'm gonna tell you a part of my story.
I went into the woods and heard the birds singing. The plants were dripping with morning dew and the sun hadn't raised yet. It was a wonderful day and I enjoyed all forest scents: The juicy berries, the smell of grass and fresh air. The fog closed in around my body, and the fireflies danced around me. I smiled at them, and was enchanted. I loved it here, I couldn't be better.
Suddenly I heard a twig was broken and turned quickly towards the direction of sound. My body was on edge and I stood like I was paralyzed.
The contours of a body became sharper, and then I saw who it was.
He had a big grin on his face and I had a great desire to slap it away with my paw.
"Good morning Minty" he said, and I sat down with an annoyed look.
"Oh, come on. It wasn't THAT dangerous?" he said and sat down beside me.
"You do not understand. You should know how vigilant I am, especially when I am alone in the woods?" He looked at me questioningly, and then he understood.
"Oh, Minty ... I'm sorry. ... I was thinking" Did he said and the sorrow was evident in his eyes. Wow, that was seldom got an apology from Kilec. Even less that he meant it.
"It's okay .. Haha, I did not know you were so soft," I said with a faint grin and nudged him, of course, he pushed me back and I landed on my back in the soft grass. Fire-flies approached us again when they realized that the danger was over and they danced like little balls of fire around us.
He stood above me, and now it was he who once sneered. The light from the fireflies reflected in his brown eyes and I could not help but blush.
"Why blushes the most sassy dragon I feel toward me?" he said with a soft voice and the blush became stronger. He leaned his head closer to mine and looked straight into my eyes.
"Your eyes are reminiscent of crystal clear water," he whispered, but the gentle tone of his voice was still there.
"Oh look at that. Hottie, what are you doing?" said a voice that could cut through glass. He looked up, and the magic was broken. The girl gang came up to us and all three stared at me, stubborn as I am obviously I glared back until one of them broke eye contact.
"Kilec, we must prepare for the ceremony," said the leader, Pink Lily.
"What kind of ceremony?" I said as I watched from Lily to Kilec. Kilec looked down at the ground and Lily laughed mockingly at me.
"Our flocks to become one, by me and Kilec need to weld them together," she said and I stared at her. I walked up to Kilec, and tried to hold my tears.
"Kilec ... is that true?" I said, and he still avoided my gaze.
"But ... what about us?" I said then and knew how Lily's eyes burned at my neck.
"You and him? You had nothing Peppermint. Go away now, we have a ceremony to prepare"
"Kilec ..?" I said, and felt my cheeks were wet. I tried to hold the tears, but I couldn't. Now, he looked in my eyes, and I saw how he suffered. I realized then that he was forced to do this.
"Go Minty, there is nothing you can do here," he said and closed his eyes. His body was shaking, so I went closer to him. Then he opened them again and took a menacing step closer.
"GO!" he roared, and I could not help but to obey.
I turned to the opposite direction and ran as fast as I could. Tears ran down my cheeks, and made my vision blurry. Yet I continued to run without problems, I could this woods by heart. After what seemed like an eternity, I stopped at a grassy spot and curled myself into a fluffy ball. And then I released everything I had inside me.
And it was the first time someone broke my heart.
I thought I was having a creative snap but maybe I was basing it off on something I saw before
