Maybe you are a professional paleontologist, degree and all, maybe you have wanted to study dinosaurs all your life or maybe that love of dinos never left you. This club is a place where us fossil hunters and lovers of ancient life can get together and talk about current theories, facts, and opinions about the vast field of paleontology! Of course, the Paleontology Club is not just about the guys who do field work...

2. Favorite Dinosaur:I have a lot... Probably either a gorgosaurus, pachycephalosaur or velociraptor. but that's just the dinos XD i also love andrewsarchus among other mammals.
3. Favorite Branch of Paleontology:They're all really interesting but i love palentology.
4. What's Your Story:When i was little I always wanted to be a paleontologist. I also love pretty much every extinct animal there is and find prehistoric things very interesting. Especially the ecology.

4. What's Your Story: I've always wanted to be a paleontologist. During my preschool graduation, the teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grow up and I said paleontologist! I've stuck with that choice my entire life, and I've learned a lot. People seem to realize I love the profession, too. When I was about ten, my family took a trip out west. On the stop in Colorado Springs, we visited the Dinosaur Resource Center, one of the few places universities send fossils to have casts made. I was amazed at everything, I guess, because during the visit a man who worked there asked if I would like to see the lab where the scientists made the casts. Of course, I agreed, and I actually got a 'backstage' tour of the lab, something that most kids did not get to do. That experience was one of the best times I've ever had on vacation and the main experience that has been keeping me on the road of professional paleontology. I already know I want to go to Montana State University(Bozeman) and hopefully meet my biggest inspiration: Jack Horner.

4. What's Your Story:
Actually, I have loved dinosaurs since I was about three years old. I have collected loads of books, stuffed animals, toys and I have even went to the "Walking With Dinosaurs" show. I still remember the dinosaur feet slippers I bought x3 Anyway, I love the Jurassic Park movies and I have watched the whole "Triassic Park" series. I have been looking at dinosaurs, reading about them and my knowledge about them just continued growing. When I was six (The same year I started reading) I said to my mom I wanted to be a paleontologist. She looked at me with a weird face (She had no idea what that was.) And then I had to explain it for her. And I guess I just havent stopped reading, writing and teaching others about them. I am dreaming that I one day will become a paleontologist. I guess that love for exctinct animals never left me.

That's awesome! Welcome to the club! I've never heard of Triassic Park. Is that a spoof of Jurassic Park or something?

Not really. Its a man who travels around in time and collects different exctinct animals and adds it to his Triassic Park, but Its alot he got to fix. He gets two tyrannosaurus rex in the first episode, brother and sister, and they grow bigger in each episode. The girl is dominant and begins arguing with her brother, and She almost kills him in a fight. The one who works there have to fix the wound and put sepperate them. A gallimimius becomes pregnant, they got to give their triceratops a new toy and so on. Its pretty interesting. C:

Did you ever have a favorite dinosaur book as a little kid? Mine was always the National Geographic field guide with these really amazing paintings!
