★History: Jerome Norwood was raised normally, to be a "proper hobbit", so to speak. Then he met and befriended Bilbo Baggins, and, in turn, Bilbo's nephew Frodo (much to Jerome's parents' dismay). Jerome became good friends with Frodo, and got along nicely with Sam Gamgee, too. When Jerome heard that Frodo was just up and leaving for Crickhollow, he decided to say goodbye to his old friend. However, when he got to Bag End, he saw Frodo, Sam, and two hobbits he didn't know packing far too many bags for just one hobbit. When he tried to ask Frodo where he was really going ("Come on, you and I both know this is too many supplies for a trip to just Crickhollow"), he was greeted with a guilty start. After weaseling the truth out of Frodo (to Frodo's credit, he put up a valiant resistance), Jerome immediately asked to go with him, saying, "I know where you're going; I might as well accompany you." Long story short, Jerome joined the small company of hobbits going to Rivendell.
★Personality:Jerome is strong and silent. At first glance, he comes across as a extremely quiet and reserved person. Only after you get close to him will you have a proper conversation, rather than simple monologues. He moves deliberately and is as steady as the 'Rock of Gibraltar'. Once he has made up his mind, it is impossible to move him even slightly. If you leave him alone, Jerome will come across as a very easygoing person. You push him somewhat and he becomes stubborn. Still trying to make him budge, beware of the violent temper. Jerome is hardly impulsive and never gets angry without a reason. In fact, he has the perfect control over his emotions. However, when he does get angry, it is better not to get in the way or you are bound to get trampled. The anger also takes time to come down.You can count on him to be there when you need him, but he will never be the one to call on you. At the same time, he will know 'what to do' and 'how to do it'. Worrying, fretting or getting nervous is definitely not one of Jerome's characteristics. It is in his nature to be stable and stoic. He takes his decisions slowly, after careful considerations. Don't tell Jerome that he's stubborn; he'll never believe it. He thinks himself to be patient, not obstinate. Jerome has this amazing quality of bearing emotional and physical pain, even for years, without grieving or complaining. The more the troubles come pouring in, the stronger he will come out to be. Jerome is nothing if not loyal and dedicated to his family and friends. He has a good appetite and loves food and drinks, but then, what hobbit doesn't? Jerome is not stingy and his pockets, along with his heart, are always open to friends and family. He loves grandeur and he is deeply interested in the various forms of art. Music has a very special place in his life. Jerome's ideas are sensible as well as practical. He is not the one to build castles out of air. Jerome is not prone to wandering. Last but not the least, they are dependable, strong, patient and trustworthy.
★Strengths:Jerome can cheer up his friends and family with a well-placed, well-chosen song. He is compassionate, dependable, loyal, reliable, and strong--physically (for a hobbit, anyway) and emotionally.
★Weaknesses:He is stubborn, sensitive, and a little headstrong.
★Weapons:Primarily, his fists, but he has a small dagger (or it seems so to men), "just in case". Most other hobbits think he's heard one too many of Bilbo's stories.

Yeah, definitely! I already have a Dwarf, so I'd prefer if somebody else took Gimli so that I don't end up having to make two characters talk to each other a lot, which is kind of awkward too xD
