Leaf scowled, and jumped in before Flare could reply.
"No, we didn't," he snapped, taking a step forward. His sleek black fur was bristling, his amber eyes narrowed. "If we had, we wouldn't have come here. What do you think we are, stupid?"

Tiger, who'd been watching the two apprentices' arguement with some interest, sighed at her brother's outburst. Couldn't he hold his tongue for two seconds? They were in someone else's territory, for star's sake!
She glanced uneasily at the she-cat, hoping her brother hadn't doomed them all.

Leafstar took a step forward her brown eyes hard. "Your stupid enough to cross the border and I'd watch your tongue."

IcePaw stopped and glanced back at DarkPaw. " Coming mouse brain!?" she asked with a hint of happiness in her eyes.

IcePaw turned around and met his eyes. " Why are you so...Angry all the time?" she asked. IcePaw really didn't care, she just wanted to know. If i'm going to like him, i better get that attitude under control..... she thought.

When Leaf opened his mouth to say more, Tiger twisted around and boxed him in the ear. He let out a small "Ow" and sulkily kept his mouth shut when he saw both Tiger and Flare glaring at him.

Flare forced a smile as he turned away from the two younger cats at his side.
"Sorry about that," he offered, trying to get the situation under control and keep his sister's kits safe.

Leafstar flicked one ear. "It's fine. " She looked them over and couldn't help thinking about what good warriors they could make. "Perhaps you'd like to stay the night?"

Darkpaw mimicked her tone. "Why are you so.. Annoying all the time?"

IcePaw touched his face with her tail . " You can be well. Stubborn. So i try not to follow." she said She quieted down. " I haven't told you or anybody this but I like you. Alot." she said. IcePaw laughed and walked back to camp.

Darkpaw watched her go. "Somethings wrong with that cat." He muttered when she was out of earhearing.
