Sun filtered in through Ava's drapes, casting a warm glow across her other what shady bedroom. After about fifteen minutes, the light had moved from the edge of her bed, creeping up until it had reached her head. Though her eyes were closed, she could feel the sun, and groaned as it woke her up. She rolled over to the other side of her bed, burying her face in the pillow. She had never been a morning person, and she still wasn't. But, no matter how much Ava resented it, she was awake, and couldn't get back to sleep now. With a sigh, she rolled over again and say up, yawning and rubbing her eyes. When she wasn't completely drowsy, she glanced over at her clock radio, and sighed when she saw the time was already 9:45. She pushed her light blue seats down to her ankles, and she swung her legs over the side of her bed, and stood up. She glanced back at the bed, the comforter thrown on the floor and the sheets shoved down to the end of her bed. She really should've organized it, but she was to lazy to right now. Walking across the room and over to the door, she opened it and stepped into the bathroom.
Walking in, she groaned at the clump atop her head that was her hair. Taking her brush off the counter, she began working on untangling her hair. About ten minutes later, her wavy hair was no longer frizzy but smooth and controlled, reaching the small of her back. She brushed her teeth, not really bothering with breakfast today, she was to lazy to get it all ready. She decided to go without make-up today, she usually didn't wear it anyway, it makes her feel fake and not herself. She walked out of her bathroom and back into her room, lazily throwing open her closet. After about a minute of deciding what to wear, she pulled out a light blue tank-top, a brown t-shirt, denim shorts and sandals, quickly changed into them, and sat back down on the bed. Again, she was to lazy to pick up the pajamas strewn across the floor. Grabbing her phone off the nightstand, she started going through her contacts, trying to find Xander's number. Once she had found it, she selected the 'send message' button, and began typing. 'Hey! Mom's at work again, and I've got nothing to to today. Wanna do something?' She hit the send button, and she pushed it into her pocket, and walked out the door of her bedroom, down the hall to the stairs.
