Darkpaw narrowed his eyes as Icepaw came up. "She's not even Clan. She can't help."

Leafstar's head swiveled quickly. "She's my apprentince. Her names Icepaw."

Darkpaw nodded but then narrowed his eyes at Icepaw.

IcePaw quickly turned her head away. " Half-Clan to be exact." she spat back. " What's with you and teasing me all the time. If I were you i'd just stop before you get hurt." she said.

Darkpaw bristled "Is that a threat? Your half Clan and we don't need weaklings here."

Sunny smiled. "I'm ready to take the challenge..." He trailed off following Wildtalon.

Wildtalon nodded his patrol filling in around Sunny almost as if he was a prisoner. "What's your name?" asked Windtalon.

"Sunny," the orange tabby and white patched tom replied, tail flicking back and forth as cats gathered round him. "what are yours?"

Tiger shifted her paws, glancing first to her left, to her dark gray uncle, then to her right, where her black-furred brother stood. Leaf seemed annoyed, where as Flare was keeping expressionless. Tiger assumed the same calm, closed look, casually observing the camp.

Leafstar hissed. "That's enough! Go to your dens." Her fur was bristled out and her tail whipped back and forth. She turned back to the intruders. "Now" She meowed trying to compose herself. "What are you doing here?"

"We were looking for somewhere to spend the night," Flare answered after he'd dropped the squirrel, shrugging. "We didn't mean to tresspass." He gave the she-cat a long look, mentally deciding how much to share with them, if they happened to ask.
