Ye be either a man or woman in the 18th Century, sailing aboard a pirate ship. Ye are a pirate, and ye'll face many dangers, such as the Royal Navy, other pirates and all manner of sea creatures.

I have searched and searched for a good role play for a long time. I have gone through so many different types and have had little success. I've tried wolves, warrior cats, humans, human romance, pretty much everything. Just recently I have discovered Dragon role plays. I have just joined one and have been searching for a second. All the ones that appeal to me are filled so now I'm looking for a new one. I'm looking for a Dragon and Dragon Rider role play.

In every role play there are specifics. Little details. Stuff to do with the layout, the construction, the plot, the characters, etc. Every detail is important and can liven or kill a role play. What I'm looking for in a role play I would consider joining is:

Semi-Literate: A aragraph of 4-5 detailed sentences minimum. No exception.
Has Yet To Begin: I'd rather the role play hasn't started. A few posts I can live with but no more than 2 pages of posts.
Original: I'm not looking for some Inheritance Cycle knock-off. Please be original.
A Form: Since this would only be my second time for this type of role play I need a form I can use. I have yet to make my own to fit this genre of role play.
A Solid Plot: This one can be ignored but it would be a bonus if there was a thick/solid plot. I'm not the biggest fan of loose plots.
A Background Story: Please have a background story for your role play. Like how the riders came to be or why they are here/there.
Character Slots: I'd prefer if there were a certain number of slots to be filled. So you accept only a number of people; not always accepting.

So please don't yell at me if you send me a link and I don't join. I can be extremly picky in which role plays I'll join. My apologizes.

Tʜᴇʏ'ʀᴇ ᴛʜᴇ Dᴇᴠɪʟ's minions, or so the legend goes.

Long ago, they say, the Veritrix pack sold their souls to the Devil in exchange for abnormal beauty. Gorgeous, utterly irresistible, and completely hollow inside; cold, ruthless, dangerous in what they would do to gain power. Soulless. Once they held the forest like putty in their paws, using their charm and good looks to claw their way to the top. They acted on whims and wishes. There was no telling what they would do to get their way. The other wolf packs fell under their spell, and so they reigned supeme, maintaining control with not force but charisma. Eventually, as they grew reckless and uncaring, their dangerous nature was noted and they were banished to a section of the forest where they could do nothing but die.

However, once monsters like these are created, there is no going back.

With no other packs to butt heads with, the Soulless, as they had become known as, flourished. Contrary to what the other packs might have hoped, they could survive just as well on their own, but they lay low for many years anyway. They watched as the wolves shook of their spell and normalcy resumed, waiting until their memory had become distant, a thing of the past.

Now they will strike.

The year is 2167 ; at least, that's what they tell us.

Wars have completely ravaged all corners of the world, and entire countries are left crippled. But, in an effort to evade downfall, three countries, Canada, Mexico, and the United States have grouped together to create not a new country, but a new society altogether. The name of this new society is "The Esoteric Union", but instead of choking down that mouthful, people simply call it "Esoteria". Nobody was allowed in, nobody was allowed out. The Union completetly cut itself off from the rest of the world, cowering in their new haven. It was divided into 4 sectors, The Northern Sector, the Southern Sector, the Eastern Sector, and the Western Sector. Soon enough the Sectors had little spats about things they disagreed on, which was defeating the whole purpose of why they created the entire union in the first place, so the Esoteric Union government { it overrules the sector governments } decided to step in. They created more defined boundaries between each sector, with up to 150 miles of empty land between each border, and let each sector have their own laws to suit themselves so they wouldn't go into the other sectors and light people up with grenades just because they didn't get along. But, the most important thing that happened during this "counselling" as they call the event, is that communication between the four Sectors were cut off entirely.



Of course, some sectors thought they had unfinished business with other sectors, so they would send highly trained men and women secretly out of their own Sectors to go take care of said "business". After a month or so of these missions, the EU government found out what was going on behind their backs, and kept their eyes peeled on the hundreds of miles of open land between each sector, ready to exterminate anyone who passed through with vile and peaceful intentions alike without a second thought. So, 10-20 years passed with a few scattered attempts between the Sectors of raiding or communicating with a different Sector. Then, the Western Sector had a breakthrough. One of their scientists created a miracle substance that would take random genes from a subject and mutate them wildly, usually giving the subject some sort of ability, which can vary from super-strength to telekinesis. The only problem is, the process usually kills the subject unless the subject has new, mint condition cells ; so, in essence, a small child or baby. The sector governments would raise these children as "super-soldiers" of sorts, and used them to effectively go between the sectors, whether it was for foul-play or for sending messages. Now of course, the EU government was very upset with their disobedient Sectors, and decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. They designed their own super soldiers using a similar technique as the Sectors to go into open combat with the Sector's super soldiers, finally giving the 4 sectors a common enemy to rebel against, which was apparently all they needed to create a thriving society. But of course, by the time the EU government discovered this, it was already too late.

BloodClan was a great and feared clan until Scourge was defeated in the battle of Bloodclan and Lionclan. With their pride hurt, and many injured, the Bloodclan cats went back to their alley way homes to lick their wounds. Many, many cats tried to take Scourges place and all of them failed to bring the clan back to order and regain the power they once held over the twolegplace and edges of the forest. Now though, a new leader has arrived, her name is Rune. A wise yet lethal cat when he clan demands it of her, she has managed what so many others before her could not. She's gained peace within the clan itself and brought fear back into the hearts of most other cats. Even with her guidance and the help of her seconds the clan is threatened. Cats were being found dead in their dens, and unfamiliar scents have begun to occur. Rogues have banded together against Bloodclan, forming their own clan like group that they call The Hunters. Their leader and their two seconds are vicious and take any chance to attack Bloodclan. Will Bloodclan fall yet again and repeat history? Or will they for once be triumphant?

The sweat and tears of juggling several jobs had finally payed off.

With highschool now finished, there was nothing to hold either of you back. A group of eight close

friends; their dream of spending the entire summer in the snowy mountains - snuggled up by the

fire in the comfiest and most expensive cabin; had fially come true. But what's this feeling in the

pit of your stomach? Butterflies? With new age comes new feelings; you could easily fall for one

of the people around you. It would make sense, you've survived highschool together; telling

eachother secrets and having jokes. Will love tear the group apart?

Or, could it bring them all closer? Only time will tell.

This roleplay follows the everyday lives of four families and their neighbors. It has no literacy requirement, and very little plot, so everything is open to your imagination. Take a look at the families below and who's left in them, and if you're interested, click the banner to join!

The First Family

Mr. and Mrs. First had three daughters in three years and really wanted a son, so they kept having kids. After having twins, they discovered they loved having a big family and had kids roughly every four years. The family is very athletic and most of the kids are involved in different sports.

The Barnes Family

The Barnes family is small but close. They are also well-known throughout the town, being a wealthy lawyer and his wife. Their children are older, and the parents are regarded as "parents to the town".

Mr. Gray died a year ago in war. The mom, a store owner, is very busy so the 16 year old son helps raise the other kids. The daughter feels somewhat left out as the only daughter and the middle child.

The Leblanc family is the youngest family, and new to the town. In the past year, a lot has happened. Following a nasty divorce, the father, who got custody of his three children, moved to Chatham from England. The oldest daughter is feeling the pressure of a new life in another country, but the younger kids are coping well.

Ah, New York. The city that never sleeps. You live, breath, and sleep on those streets. You've been living on them since you were just a kid. Whatever happened, you're either a runaway, or were abandon to fend for yourself. Well it's payed off so far. You're a teen and still finding you're way in this mess. Some people you know weren't as lucky. They got arrested for stealing food or money because they were at their breaking point. But you make it with what few things you have. Keep it up, and maybe you'll survive these rough streets.

Family Matters | Mafia RP | Semi Literate | 3 spots open

This city was always full of some of the most notable crime groups in the country, and your family is determined to leave your mark on history. For generations, one of the oldest mafia gangs -- referred to only as the notorious and infamous "Fa • mi • ly", made up of men and women, young and old -- has made the city into their efficient and irrefutable plaything. Illegal trafficking, smuggling, corruption, money laundering -- you name it, they've done it. Ten times over. Some of the best and successful businessmen are part of the Family themselves, and some of the most powerful judges and authorities were placed in their positions of power by the Family. No one dares put up a fight. What good would that do? They'd be outmatched, outwitted; the Family is rich, powerful, and of many. They're so powerful, in fact, that they no longer keep their faces hidden to the world. Oh, it's not as if they're parading through the streets declaring that they're part of the mafia. But they're not making much effort to hide the fact, either. Who's going to stop them?

The new kids in town would beg to differ. It seemed like they just popped out of the ground. One minute the Family was going to swipe some couple million in cash from the Federal Bank and then --

Someone got to it before they did. Even the Family doesn't know who this new mafia group is, but one thing's for sure: they're disorganized, in disarray, and all too eager to challenge the age old Family. Unlike the Family, members of this new group are younger, ranging from about their late teens to their mid twenties. Their gang name is undisclosed (assuming they've gotten themselves together enough to agree on a name) and they have the advantage of animosity. No one knows the members. But unlike the Family, they're small and without as much manpower. The Family refers to them as the "Mc • Nug • gets" as condescendingly as possible, although the media has taken to calling them the "Kids".

Still, the threat can't be ignored, as the Kids are ambitious and slowly gaining more and more attention. If the Family wants to keep its territory, power, and reputation, they'd better squelch this little vigilante group -- fast.

To make matters worse, two in • ves • ti • ga • tors -- a rookie from out of town and a veteran who really couldn't care less -- have been assigned to tracking down and busting the Kids, which means figuring out their connection with the Family. Neither gang needs this right now, but hopefully the veteran investigator will be able to keep the heat off them for a while. Most older officers and authorities, after all, believe trying to bust the mafia is basically a lost cause. A waste of time. This veteran won't be eager to miss their television for these guys. But the rookie is fresh out of school and ready to take down some bad guys ... and rather over-zealous, if one could be so bold.
