No star has ever burned brighter,
My heart now feels lighter.

I love your soft pretty fur,
I love the way you gently purr.

I love the way you make me smile,
Makes me want to run a mile,
Just for you.

I love the way you love me too,
Makes me know how much I mean to you.

And when I pat your grey and green fur,
I always think, "Oh I love her!"

When the stars are right,
and the moon will shine,
I hoped to the night,
"Let Starstruck be mine."

She was alone on the streets,
and oh,how I wanted her,
"Please,please let me meet,
That little cat with the prettiest purr."

And those lovely stars shone back at me,
and I could finally see,
"Starstruck,you're free,
and please come home with me!"

Lightning strikes
Not once, but twice
In this old town it does.
A thunderstorm could never match
The lightning in this town
She may be small,
She may be lost
But Lightning sure is smart.
She's made a home
She's holding on
To the small world in this town.

Or my fangs begin to grind and chaif

I remember how you pet my silky fur
I can feel your touch even now
You gave me my star charm, you were sure
That I would protect you some how

While you rest in your bed
I am at foot, waiting for your sleep
Then I shall jump on ahead
Going on adventures while you count sheep

I can still hear twinkling
As my charm hits the fence like frets
It always got me to start to get thinking
How I don't have any regrets....
