"Come on Yeti!" Winter nudged him. "Let's get to our positions!"

[AHS_Freak]

They finally got there and the musher already put the harness on Spirit and Yeti. Spirit then looked at Max, her heart pounded. She had a crush on him.

Yeti smiled at Winter and got into his position. He then barked confidently and glanced at everyone, "you guys ready?"

[jarvis.]

Winter cheered loudly and waited for the musher to put their harnesses on. She stretched out her legs and made sure her boots weren't going to fall off.

[AHS_Freak]

The musher then put the harnessess on all the dogs. Yeti barked, "alright guys, first let's start out with a slow pace so we can save energy. Who agrees?" He cocked his head to the side.

Spirit barked and watched as other dogs on other teams were saying they were going to win. She rolled her eyes and muttered, "yeah right."

[jarvis.]

Winter yipped excitedly, "Whatever you say goes, Yeti!"

Yeti smiled at Winter and waited for the race to start. Then came the shot of a gun. Yeti barked and kept a slow run.

Spirit let out a bark also and began running also but not very fast. She then barked, "Yeti, we can't go too slow though because then we'll never get in the lead if we're too far away."

[jarvis.]

Winter nodded in agreement and realized Yeti couldn't see her so she suggested, "We should go a little faster!" She jogged after Yeti.

[opal.]

Yeti barked, "alright." He went a little faster and some of the other dogs shouted, "ha, losers!" He ignored them.

Spirit also went faster and she barked happily.

Winter noticed another team gaining on theirs. The head of their team snarled at her and she turned away from him quickly.
