Echopaw glanced up as movement was made inside the den behind him. He offered Hailpaw a small smile, sitting and trying to relax a little. Never would he admit that she had scared him, but she had. What kind of a warrior would he be if everything scared him? Well, he wouldn't be a warrior. Not a true one anyway. "hi." he spoke in a cheerful but soft voice.

Hailpaw looked over at Echopaw her eyes sparkling."Hey." She said softly padding over to him. "What you doing?" She asked curiously. Her tail flicked back and forth as she took a seat next to him, tilting her head ever so slightly. Curiosity is one of the worst things I could have.. She sighed to herself. Focuising back on Echopaw she began to wonder why he was up at this time during the night.

"Hi," Echopaw nodded in a response. "You know, I have no idea." The light tom smiled slightly. His deep voice rumbling softly. His tail flicked over his paws. "I guess I couldn't sleep." he shrugged.he wondered what was she doing up? Not that he would ask her, if she wanted him to know she would tell him.

Hailpaw glanced away and then back at him. "I can't sleep either..." She finally sighed understanding how he felt. Her eyes sparkled in the moonlight, as she gazed up at the stars. "I wonder if my mothers in Starclan.." She said soflty her thoughts distent. Shacking herself out of her thoughts she looked back at Echopaw then down at her paws and blushed.
