Bonnie offers a warm smile and glances up seeing the peacekeepers who seemed to be staring down at Balieesé as if they wanted something from here. I felt a small spark of rage and decided quickly that I wasn't going to let them take anything from her. "Is there a problem here?" I ask narrowing my eyes at them, trying to look somehow menacing.

Eric heard his district's partner's voice and looked up from the knife he had just picked up. Why was she talking to a peacekeeper? Shaking his head he sighed and threw the knife. Again, his aim wasn't as great as with the axes but it was still good enough.

Peter glanced at Inca, then returned to smudging more yellow paint onto his arm. His eyebrows knitted togetherr in concentration, and he turned around to show Scarlett. "Well? What do ya think?" he asked, eyes shining. Sarlett laughed. "It looks like a 5 year old scribbled everwhere," he teased, using a wet cloth to rub the paint off his hand. Peter laughed. "Yep. Its how I roll." he looked at Scarlett. "Teach me?" he asked. "Of course," Scarlett replied.

Joy sat as she studied the edible plants section. She had memorised most of the berries and herbs, but she wanted to be certain, as one mistake could kill her. That and she wanted to know which berries and leaves she could possibly make a sort of tea out of. She did like tea after all. There seemed to be rather a lot of oriental plants around, which would probably mean that her chances of coming across tea leaves increased.

Scarlett tried her best to match the paint to the bark on the tree, her painbrush making smooth strokes across Peter's arm. "Done." She said, stepping back to look at it. Peter pressed his arm up to the tree model Scarlett had been trying to copy. "It's okay..." Said Scarlett, sounding displeased. "Oh, shutup. Don't be modest, it's great!" Peter exclaimed. He noticed some yellow and green marks. "Whats thaa...?" He asked, pointing at the marks. "Oh, uh, I got a little carried away." Scarlett said, shrugging, with a slightly embarassed smile. Peter recognized that they were the little yellow and orange wildflowers that grew around his district and he guessed they grew in Scarlett's too.

Satin looked around the room, watching the other tributes for a moment. Currently it seemed that there were two other sets of allies apart from her lot, and they both posed a threat to her. The district 8 girl seemed to be able to use camouflage well, which would mean they could be missed when the careers were hunting through the woods. She would have to try and get them at the cornucopia. Whereas the other alliance seemed bigger, and made up out of intelligence. The only one that seemed physically active was district 10. Although they would be tricky, they would be weak. An easy target.

"Finding the weak links?" Hunter whispers, as he glanced over at the group at the traps with a sly grin on his face. "They look like they don't have much advantage.." He mutters as he turns around to head towards the sword training area. He looks at the stand and picks out a long one with a green design on the hilt. He flips the sword around his both arms and finally turns towards to his instructor, slashing out making the instructor have to duck unless he wanted to be disemboweled.

Joy watched with interest as Hunter used the sword. It looked kinda fun, and so she walked (or rather cart wheeled) over to the swords and choosing a rather nice katana, she started to make use a few basic moves on a dummy, finding the weak points on the human body. Last year, there had been armour at the cornucopia, so hitting someone in the chest would be useless, and so would the head. However at the neck, and just below the ribs would be good places to strike. They would be unprotected, like the elbows and behind the knees. She soon sped up, twirling and dancing with the sword as if it were easy. It wasn't heavy, and it felt quite graceful.
