A: Please don't bother requesting new species unless I've specifically asked for ideas. I have my own ideas and plans for the site and I'll make new species if and when I feel it is necessary to add something different.

I think it is worth mentioning that I don't have the skills to draw every species in the animal kingdom, so it's better not to get your hopes up that we'll ever have, for example, adoptable hermit crabs.

What about a post where you enter your fursona into a raffle, and then the winners are chosen at random. The first four winners will be made into pets. So you have a few little baby dogs for the month, and one of them would grow into the four Fursonas. Get it?

I don't think anyone wants copies of their fursona for everyone to have. -shudders at the thought of someone owning a 'Bullet' and naming it 'Princess' or something-

Agreed. Fursonas aren't meant to be playthings for everyone.

I do like the raffle idea, except you enter a design and the ones picked out are made into pets but nobody [Not even the winners] know which people are the winners 8D Except you couldn't go all out crazy and make a like freaking rainbow puke sparkle dog with giant angel wings and a bow in there tail. And you couldn't have 4953485043909 colors on it XP

I have a question, when you see a webcomic they will (should) always say that they will throw out any scripts sent to them to prevent legel issues. Isn't it the same for art? Can Tess realy use the designs here to a dot? Or is it just to base off of? Like say wild dogs and they do any wild dog?

That is why we aren't supposed to be posting drawings we've done of characters with specific designs. This topic is more for general suggestions. For example, there's no point in me posting Coalchaser here because they can't use her design (and I wouldn't want everyone to be able to adopt her anyways >.>), but it's perfectly fine for me to suggest Dalmatians (although that would be pointless because we already have Dalmatians).

They do that so they don't get sued. Like the ex-directors of Total Drama said they couldn't read fanfiction/comics because somebody might sue them for taking there idea if it was too similar and by not reading fanfiction they can say they never looked at it. And the writers of Ben 10   said they don't look at fan art/fan fiction because someone might make an idea too similar to a fans.
That's why movies are so different from the books if they were based off one. >_<
And if I made a design for a contest I'd want it based down to the dot. :< That's just me though. If I enter it for a contest and win I want it to look like the original.
