Sootwhisker didn't seem to notice her advances; he was preoccupied with the fresh, plump vole. "Erm, the sun's already risen," he mewed. It was true; it had risen above the trees.

Streampaw blushed. "Hehe, right maybe we could go to the pond?" she asked. She really didn't want to seem desperate, but she was longing to do something.

Sootwhisker shook his head and rose to his paws. "I think Ashcloud put me on a patrol," he meowed. "I don't really have much time right now."

Junerain rolled his eyes at Sorrelpaw's answer, he sighed, "Right... if you're staying here then you'll be changing the moss on the elder's den" he looked at Stripedtail, "morning"

Ospreyfeather stepped into the clearing, her eyes squinted in the sunlight. "Whoo, I haven't been out in such a long time...." She murmured, heading over to the fresh-kill pile.

Larksong followed her, his tail swishing. "So...." He started, trying to start a conversation, "What did you wake me up for....?"

Sorrelpaw sighed. "You don't need to see to frolic...." She mewed, "You can just.... Run around, and enjoy the fresh air...." Shooting a slight glare at Junerain, she asked, "Can't I go on a hunting patrol....? I think Sootwhisker might be going, can't I tag along...?"

Flashfire headed outside, and nearly bumped into Sootwhisker and Streampaw. "Oh, hello!" He mewed, "May I eat with you?"

Sootwhisker grinned at Flashfire. "Yeah."

Smokefur chuckled. "You're like a gremlin."

"Hunting," Pale-eye replied. She padded a safe distance away, not wanting to brush pelts.

"Oh, okay," Streampaw meowed, defeated. "Hi Flashfire," she meowed quietly.

The tom sighed softly and closed his eyes for a moment, "ok ok... you may, if it's alright with Soothwhisker" he said, "Can I give you a task on the hunting then?" he asked Sorrelpaw before looking at Stippedtail, "hum... Moonpaw? I guess last time him he was around Ghostkit" he said.

Ospreyfeather lazily swiped a paw at Smokefur. "Cheek." She mewed playfully, sitting down.

Flashfire purred, taking a small chaffinch from the pile. "What patrol are you going on?" He asked, taking a bite.

Larksong nodded, not wanting to press her any more. After a moment, he couldn't help but ask, "Where....?"

Sorrelpaw dashed off with a quick goodbye, heading over to Sootwhisker.

Sootwhisker cuffed Sorrelpaw over the ears in greeting. "Allo." His whiskers twitched.

"Everywhere," said Pale-eye with amusement, daring to meet his gaze. Her face suddenly felt warm under the fur there, almost hot where he had brushed his cheek across hers as he awoke. She blinked once and lowered her gaze, dipping her head and then squaring her shoulders.

Smokefur shrugged, but grinned. "Talent, not cheek."
