"Shall we get back to the others then?" Zax nickered, brushing against him as she walked by.

Titus nodded, beginning to trot after her.

Zax broke into a trot as well, slowing when they neared the herd.

Titus smiled, slowing as they reached the herd.

Zax stayed near him, her tail swishing side to side in content. She kept him on her left side so that she could see him clearly.

Titus smiled at Zax, gently nuzzling her neck.

Zax smiled back, flicking an ear playfully. She lowered her head to graze, enjoying the afternoon sun on her painted coat.

Titus smiled at the paint mare, his ears pricked. He would spend a bit of time with her before asking the others if they wanted a foal. He hadn't spent much time with Zax since she joined last spring.

Zax stopped grazing and looked up at the stallion. "So..How have you been?" She asked lamely, trying to start a conversation.

"I've been alright. How about you?" Titus responded, pricking his ears calmly.
