@Flytech lol a rare, maybe 4-5 uncommons. The main trouble is actually the animation process itself.

Cursed pacts:
I like them over Blessed just because of the danger, and mysteriousness of the stories that seem to go with the runes that have cursed pacts.
Ancients that have cursed pacts usually end up being in the color range I like.
I like dark, evil things

Blessed Pacts:
Main thing I like is the beauty that usually follows a blessed pact Ancient. They seem to be a bit more majestic? less, hunching over and more regal and proud.
What I find bad is the stories that usually follow a blessed pact are usually sad. I don't know, maybe that's just the feeling i get from them.
I do like light colors, whites, golds, etc. which usually this is what Blessed pacts seem to have. Natural colors as well, more nature like. Breaking this stigma would make an interesting blessed pact ancient. Dark and mysterious but blessing that who they bond to. Balance you know..I think...i feel I ramble to much..

Anyway, kinda a rough layout of my views on the pacts.

As for blessed vs. cursed, I only tried out for one ancient and that was a blessed pact I believe. I do have a soft spot for villains and evil characters, but I don't really care if my ancient (if I ever get one!) has a blessed or cursed pact. I think both are cool, and in the long run what attracts me to a dragon first is it's appearance. I love the dark and evil Runes as much as I love the light and fluffy Runes. I don't like any more then the other. I'm a grey sort of person. Actually, I think it would be really interesting to see a 'dark' and/or evil Ancient who wants a blessed pact, or vice versa a 'light' Ancient who wants a cursed pact. It would certainly make an interesting character. Maybe they're really not so evil/good after all. -Tundra I think you just said this. Oh well!-

Just want to check, I know a human sacrifices something when they enter into a cursed pact, but does an Ancient ever sacrifice anything for either a cursed or blessed pact? Oh! And if say the summoner in a blessed pact dies could the Ancient offer another person a cursed pact? Because maybe they were so upset they want to keep their next summoner alive forever, or they just turned evil or something. Just speculating... Can ancients even have more then one summoner if their old one dies? Sorry if that's been asked before, I tend to lose track!

@Tundra: The Death Ancient is a blessed pact, isn't he? And he's dark, dunno about evil, but definitely what I suspected was a Cursed Pact but if I remember it is actually not cursed. ^^ One of my favorite ones released but... again, I love dark and dangerous color palettes and evil looking things. XD

Never actually read the Death Ancient Story lol, but still, was before I was a member...and prefer Verdana to have him lol, I don't think i could beat her out if I tried. Been buds for about...a year now? or something like that, she was how I found rune Dragons. I can see an assassin like ancient having a blessed pact...because they keep order...most of the time lol. *doodles while typing*

I want a calm story Ancient, yet dark, mysterious, and maybe involving a lot of death lol.

As far as the blessed/cursed pacts from the Ancients go, I would suggest keeping it as even as possible, maybe even switching off between designing each Ancient. So, if the Pestilent Ancient had a cursed pact this time, perhaps an Ancient with a blessed pact the next time. That way, maybe people can try to plan on getting an Ancient if they feel that having a certain type of pact appeals to them.

Tundra brings up an excellent point though. Is there any possibility of an Ancient having a pact that could be either blessed or cursed...?

I like both types of pacts equally xD The only thing I hope to see is some kind of 'Light Is Not Good' Ancient in the future...

I really like either. I can see the appeal in blessed pacts and cursed pacts(if it could be called an appeal, attraction?..)lol, but I feel equal on both, I might lean a little to dark, cursed pacts. But that's just me.

And about the whole collab thing: I started saying something about art trades, then Tundra said a collab would be fun. So I decided to do that, and I kinda became the "overseer" of the thing as Silverhart put it ^^ I can add you to the list She-Hound~

And about the whole blessed pact and cursed pact thing...
Cursed: Well, I can't say I like one more than the other, but I lean toward the cursed because...well, like everyone said, for the evilness and the mystery that surrounds it. And also, if you were actually confronted with something like this, it's kind of like those things that you can't really decide upon. You'd really want to because it's tempting! if you really had a life like the ones in the stories/intros, you might go for it. but yet again, you know it's kind of morally wrong, I suppose, and you wouldn't. It's kind of weird how I think about it... but as it's only a character I am forcing to make a pact with, I like the idea of a different, more evil pact. It gives more room for a bunch of possiblilities, as your character is evil and stuff...and the personality twists are really fun to play around with ^^

Blessed: Blessed pacts, in my opinion, are one of those things where you go (if ever confronted in real life) "Yeah!" because it's kind of a "too good to be true" kind of things. I feel as if there's not too much twist to it, but I guess if you tweak it in a way that it's fun, it can be rewarding. Although like I believe Sliverhart pointed out, can there be one that could go either way?
...or a "good" ancient with a cursed pact (cursed in the sense that I guess you become immortal?). Because I was thinking of the Doctor. If he became an ancient, I can imagine him saying that they can tour the world and universe, but would have to constantly save it and restore time in certain places (and whatever the Doctor does in the TV series) and would always regenerate (basically "reincarnation") and thus lose mortality? So it wouldn't be Cursed cursed because he isn't evil, but wouldnt be blessed because you lose mortality.
(yes, the doctor would let go of his companions, but he does have a slight dark side that I thought would be fun to bring out more if he were an ancient)
