This all started whenI was looking for hippocampus lines for a species and there were only 3 on CS. One was a chibi, (adorable by the way!) One didnt have and actual mer-tail, and one was like a sharks tail. So I decided I would try my luck on drawing them... I was expecting it to be a lot more horrible!

So this is my effort at drawing a hippocampus... I have to say, Im pretty proud of it! ^^ I dont really like the background, head or hair, so I might edit it later... I had several different sessions because I worked on it a little at a time. The timer is a liar, I left this open while doing other stuff. Im guessing it might be an hour off.

So sorry for stupid background, I just couldnt get it right... It probably took 3/4 time it took to draw the actual lines because I had to keep re-doing it DX

Drawing all the scales was agonizing! GAHHH SO MANY TINY SCALES.... *cradles bandaged wrist*
