Angelina shook her head. "I have nothing to live for anymore. Tom is dead, and everyone in my district hates me. Even if they chose to accept me, I still wouldn't want to go back."

Maya frowned. "Why does everyone hate you? If it's too much, y-you don't have to tell us." She had a feeling that her question would be very hard to chew.

Angelina bit her lip, thinking. Theb she sighed and said, "I don't know. Maybe because I'm not the smartest or the most hard working. Everyone in my district is a little... Crazy."

Maya placed her hand on her back and traced the scar. "My district is pretty peaceful and nice. But not everyone is." Tears came to her eyes and she took her hand away. "I...
