I'd say a few weeks at least; as it's the holidays (at least in England lol) people are more likely to be busy and stuff/on holiday.

If I download gimp my parents will probably want me to delete it, so there'd be no use.
Plus when i had it I didn't even know you could make anything transparent using that, so I won't now.

But, if I do get gimp then this'll help.

with gimp-
magic wand tool or "the fuzzy select tool"-click the background (you may have to play with the threshold settings and make sure you click the "add to current selections" settings ) the go to "layer" drop down window then click transparency, then click "color to alpha" which should bring up a miniwindow, make sure the background color is the same as the "from alpha" color, click ok and your done.

sounds like a lot but it honestly isnt, takes maybe a minute

gimps like the only program i use cuase i be poor folk and cant afford sai and photoshop : D
