♒ { Relaxed, Thoughtful } ♒

Moonshade laughed softly at the faint thought of kits leaping up to catch snowflakes. The dark she-cat felt as though all of the old memories of the two were still fresh in her mind; almost like they happened yesterday. But they hadn't. They were moons ago, though she remembered them perfectly. Moonshade nodded, her gaze wavering from his and drifted to watch a baby bird flutter out of it's nest as it's mother coaxed it out with her twittery song. The trees were a few tail-lengths away from the white shore they padded alongside together on but the young warrior had excellent sight and noticed the family almost instantly. It fell onto the ground and Moonshade blinked her sea-blue eyes at the little thing. Sympathy flooded her gaze until she noticed it start to flutter it's tiny wings once more until it was finally off the ground. It was unstable, but in the air. She then smiled, listening to Wolfheart's familiar voice near her. She turned her attention back to him, pricking her ears when he mentioned how happy he was to be deputy. Moonshade grinned happily, glad he felt good to be deputy. But the smile disappeared when he mentioned Cloverstar's struggles with her former deputy's passing.
She sighed. The happy moment was gone from Moonshade almost instantly. She feared Cloverstar. But in a good, safe way; she never dared talked back to her or question her orders. She had good reason to though for in Stoneclan her uncle had been deputy and hurt her when she tried playing with him as a kit. She didn't understand the whole concept of authority or respect; she was only two moons old then. But ever since she then, the day she felt her first wound on flesh, she feared what Cloverstar might do to her if she would act like that around her. But she didn't want this good moment to fade away; she wanted it to carry on all night. The smile returned on her beautiful, tabby face, and she responded, "Cloverstar has every right to feel pain like this. But I feel I almost fear she needs someone to be checking on her... Not that I feel she can't take care of herself... Just she's felt too much. She needs help." She paused, blinking with faint amusement, now, "Don't worry, Wolfheart. Lightheart's got an eye on her."

Lightheart shivered, only catching a glimpse of Hawkfeather's eyes glinting in the darkness. She swallowed hard. What in Starclan's name...?! The white she-cat felt it hard to believe the slightest touch between the two medicine cats would cause this. She only thought it a coincidence. Why was it so cold? Hawkfether didn't look cold... before the cave blacked out, of course. But now she felt it was freezing. At one point, she heard her mother's voice hiss something behind her once more but something she didn't understand. She jumped, looking sharply behind her to try and see her. But there was nothing. Her midnight-blue eyes were huge now and she could hardly make out Hawkfeather's outline in the darkness. She wanted the moon's silvery light so badly at the moment. Unlike her sister, she hated the darkness. One of Moonshade's gifts was she could hunt, fight or just sit during the night and disappear into the shadows perfectly. But Lightheart's white pelt was too bright to allow her to even hide properly; for it cast a sort of faint glow in the darkness.
Lightheart didn't care if she weren't supposed to touch the Flameclan tom. She just didn't. That was ridiculous. She pressed up against him, partly to keep warm and figure out where he was and at the same time almost to spite the starry spirits warning her and reprimanding her about things that were completely impossible. She shivered still, but looked up, now remembering the waterfall was right in front of them. It was nearly pitch black in the cave underneath the huge river... But the waterfall allowed only a few slivers of light to cut through it's powerful tumbling. "Come on... Let's get out of here, Hawkfeather," she whispered. She never wanted to let go of him. For some reason, it felt too comforting but she stood instead and laid her soft tail on his shoulders. She ignored her rapidly growing fear of the dark and padded forwardly confidently; squinting her eyes to figure out where to go as she guided Hawkfeather forward. Finally, she slid through the small space separating the cave and the outside world by the waterfall. She shook her white pelt, glowing a little in the night; making it seem like she literally absorbed the moonlight pouring down on them as it did only a few moments ago. She turned around, blinking as she waited for him.

{{I am so unbelievably pissed off and upset right now.. Like I'm seriously about to cry tearing up.. :[ I had a reply all typed out.. More lengthy than most of my posts here have been.. It was so perfect.. I hit preview and my interent decided to mess up. No big deal, right? It does that a lot & it's always fine when I hit back because it's still there and I can just hit preview again.. Not this time. No. It said something about confirming resubmittion. I hit back again and it's BLANK x\ I never even sumbitted. I hit PREVIEW. I shouldn't be having a problem with Submittion.. I'm gonna go cry in a ball now..}}

(( OH dear.... That's awful, wolves D: That's happened to me before... a few months ago when our internet was screwed up way beyond repair. I couldn't do anything, basically, even though it said the connection was fine -___- Anyway, don't worry about having to post soon; I understand it's frustrating. Don't rush yourself <3 ))
