( Wolf with powers role play, just getting started, and hopefully semi-lit, but quality over quantity rule )

Darkness engulfed the forest, and although it was cloudless, no moon shone that night. Instead, the sky was lit with a different kind of light. Tonight, the sky was lit with dazzling streaks of purple, green, and blue; the Aurora Borealis. Below, a fire suddenly flickered into existence, earning small, startled gasps from the young wolves surrounding it. A hushed silence came over them as a deep, earthy brown brute stepped into the fire's light, a deep green gem and a eagle feather resting on his chest from a grass string. For a moment, no one spoke, and the young wolves quivered with barely controlled excitement. Then, the white brute began to speak, his deep voice ringing clearly out into the silent forest. "Long ago," he began, glancing meaningfully at each individual wolf around him, "the first of animals were placed upon this Earth. There were those who ate the plants, such as the rabbits, the deer, and the elk. And then, there were those who ate them, such as the foxes, the bears, and of course, the wolf. Now, in those days, chaos ravaged the lands. Not only did predator hunt prey, but the predators also hunted amongst themselves, and brother turned on brother. There were even those who hunted not out of need, but instead, for sport. The spirits became angry with this behaviour, and sent a drought to the lands to express their anger." Now, the brute paused for a moment, and the young wolves eagerly leaned in, silently urging him to continue. The brute lowered his head and voice, staring the young wolves right in the eye. "A month after the drought had been sent, on a night just like tonight, a fight broke out amongst the wolves.They were all hungry, thirsty, and weak, and each seemed to blame the others for their problems. Then, in the midst of the fighting, one wolf came forward and suddenly called 'Stop!' Confused, the wolves did stop, and looked around to find who had called to them. A grey brute stood upon a rock, staring at the wolves around him. This wolf's name, was Amoux. 'Stop!' he called once again, softer, and watched as all the wolves there turned to him. 'This fighting must end! We are destroying ourselves!' Amoux cried, looking at the wolves gathered there. "We spend all our time fighting our own brothers and sisters, and have angered the spirits!' The wolves remained silent as they reflected on what he had said, and waited for him to go on. "This is not how it's supposed to be,' Amoux continued with a shake of his head, before taking a step forward. 'Join me, and we will create a pack. One that we can live in harmony together in, and in which we can work together to survive.' Some of the wolves scorned Amoux, and walked away. A few, though, stayed, and together, they created a pack in which they did indeed live in harmony in. Impressed by Amoux, the spirits presented a gift to him. It was a necklace, that had a silver gem and an eagle feather hanging from it. 'The eagle feather represents your leadership as alpha,' the spirits told him. 'An owl feather represents the betas, two black stones with silver fleck represents the oracle, a stone represents the guards, a tooth represents the fighters, a leaf represents the healers, and a claw represents the hunters.' 'Thank you for these gifts,' Amoux replied. 'But, may I ask, what are the purpose of the gems?' The spirits paused and gave a smile before answering. 'Those are our true gifts to you, dear one. Those are much more than stones. They possess the power of magic. Just as each wolf specializes in a certain area, so will the gems. Each one will be capable of performing certain things, all depending on it's owner.' Astonished, Amoux thanked them for their kindness, and watched as they began to leave. One spirit paused for a moment though, and looked back to Amoux. 'Oh, and each gem has a name. No one will tell you, but you'll easily be able to tell on your own. However,' he warned, 'tell only those you trust and care about most your gem's name, for if another knows, they'll be able to command your power, and you yourself. As well, your powers will only work if you are wearing the gem.' Amoux thanked the spirit for his advice and watched as he raced back to where the northern lights still danced. Years went by, and the pack learned how to use their powers, and continued to live in harmony. And although Amoux died centuries ago, the pack he built still thrives today, with the same values and traditions that it had before. And so, once a pup has reached six moons of age, on a night when there is no moon and the lights of our ancestors dance in the sky, they too are given a gem and item to determine there rank." The brown brute paused now, watching the pups around him squirm in delight, they eyes wide with excitement. Their eyes widened even larger as two wolves stepped out of the gloom to sit on either side of him. On the wolf to his right, a leaf hung from his necklace, and the wolf on the left had two black stones flecked with silver hanging from theirs. "Tonight," the brown brute said nobly, the firelight dancing in the depths of his green eyes, "you will truly become a wolf of the Vanished Moon Pack."

Plot~

It's amazing where you are and school is out rather then summer vacation we get winter vacation and you are having the best school year ever. Surprisingly. But winter is gonna be awesome and you finally get out of school and you meet new people and see old friends. We are all chosen to go on a trip to a camp this winter. You think there would be snow. Wrong they bring you to a warm sunny island.

Girls Plot~

You can't wait for winter break and there are new cute guys in town and you are so excited to meet them. Us girls we like cute boys and we all wanna meet every single one of them. So you are chosen to be brought to this fancy camp and there are some nice looking staff and some of the guy that are brought with are cute too. Sadly you don't get to meet the new guys back at home but you are fine with the ones here.

Guys Plot~

You are all excited for this winter and school just got out and it's even better when you are chosen to be brought to a camp with some of you're buddies and some new hot girls are there. Take a look at the staff to there are some mighty nice looking waitresses there at the camp. So guys you all get the girls and have a fun time at this camp.

~Rules by Love Hate~

1. ) Tess's rules

I just want to be clear on this, I expect you to follow both sets of rules you have. Saying this, you should realize that this also means nothing explicit, or anything that can be classified as 'naughty' or anything that had been explained in the explict rules.

2. ) Characters & limits

This is something that is kind of important, your character limit. I know we have a lot of fans on here who want to play the girls that the One Direction characters fall in love with. Well, I am going to limit that. One girl per person, nothing more. Playing a girl isn't required, neither is playing a guy. If you do, however, wish to play a guy, I'd also like to limit that to one per person. Of course, you can play both a boy and a girl, which I would love, but you certainly dont have to.

3. ) Posting

Ah yes, posting. I'd first like to point out that this is a loose Semi-Literate role play. Now, we all have different definitions of that. Mine is at least 4 sentences, or possibly 3 lines. More is gratefully welcomed and 5-6 well constructed sentences shouldn't be that hard, even with writer's block. I would prefer if you post in Third Person, but I am not going to set a certain way you need to post. Some people have trouble posting as one or the other, plus I like seeing people's natural styles.Also no photos on character posts, it's now considered spam, so only page dividers and fonts for text (Character names) at the top of the post. Also, when you post, please at least add a bit of color, or center it and make it small text. It makes everything a little more pretty!

4.) Forms

Nooo! Forms! So, I'm going to be lazy and not write a form for you let you use your own forms. Make them creative, and please, I beg of you, don't make them short. I'd prefer if you have a medium - long form. I'm hoping to see the basics, relationship info, and a personality at least, as well as pets and family info, in most or all forms. I should also mention that making a form for the boys, except for maybe a little spot for who they like or anything relationship statuses they have. That can just go under your girl's form. If you want though, you can make a form for them.


5.) The boys

This really only applies to you if you are playing one of the boys. Don't make them completely different from how they actually are. Don't make Harry all sheltered, and Louis a bore. We all know that Harry loves to flirt and Louis is hardly ever quiet. As for their bromances, bring it on! Also, remember. All the boys have their quirks. You have to remember that Zayn does smoke and that Liam only has one functioning kidney.


6.) Character relationships

Alright, let's get down to business. Yes, your girl can have a relationship with one of the boys, but I am going to refer to Rule 1. Do not get into any detail for anything beyond kissing. The admins have plenty of ninjas around and I would prefer if this didn't get shut down because of a rule being broken. I just wanted to highlight this one, twice, because it's also very awkward for other people if it goes on. Fade it out if it gets to that.[/size]

searching for a roleplay

Hello everybody! I am searching for a role-play that would be placed in the Human/Humanoid Role Plays (Fantasy & Fandom-based). I really want to role-play in this category lately for some reason. I would really like it if the role-play is semi-lit, I can make pretty and long posts (not extremely long though, if you want to see my semi-literate writing look at some of my posts here or go through my recent posts. I'm warning you, I vary in literateness, sometimes I'll do only one or two liners and sometimes I'll write big paragraphs, depends on the role-play requirement. I like role-plays that keep track of members and recent news and all that, I also like it if it looks pretty and is neatly set up. I prefer the role-play to be newer, and have girl spots available because I cannot play guys very well. I will not do Hunger Games (I'm already in one, and I don't believe it belongs in the fantasy role-play category), probably not werewolves, and possibly vampires. I am mainly looking for something original and not seen as often, like maybe element control or shape shifters with special powers or even faeries. Try not to offer me the general vampire and werewolf stuff please . I also really like it when there is a detailed and developed plot, not just a few lines. Fireborn. (High Fantasy RP) (Semilit+)

100 years ago the kingdom of Nevinta was a peaceful place. The men, women, & children all lived in peace, given the wonders that their maker- The Highlord as they called him. They believed that the Highlord was giving them this peace to follow up after the war recently won. It had been a dark time the creatures crawling up from the fires of the underground, tormenting commoners, slaughtering nobles. It had been a rough time, the reason that these demons had risen had been because of their ruler Dramin. Dramin was said to be a human centuries before, said to be just as average as all the rest. Only he harbored a hatred in his heart, one that could not be explained. He started to kill, and with that began to rise up a dictator on the land. He ruled ruthlessly until a young man named Talmon brought his rule to an end. Since that day it was said that he paced restless in hell, forming creatures and trying to resurface his now twisted and demonic form. Every couple of hundred years he manages to send up some of his creatures, and they do their worse, trying to bring their ruler to his former glory. Usually the few years following these wars are peaceful beyond anything else. As it's said the Highlord will gift them for their victory. However this victory was short kept.

The creatures returned and began to tear the land apart, angry at their failures. Dramin had gotten fruious and demanded they not stop, not until they had conquered everything they should have. Many men died trying to win this war, though it seemed like nothing could be done to stop these creatures. Well maybe one thing, but one thing that would never come to their aid.

Dragons.

Yes, the dragons had once been welcomed by everyone, however after some mishaps they were banished from human life, told they would be killed if they ever returned. The dragons could win this fight, but now there was no use in trying to locate them as they were kept hidden away. The only way that they could be found was with the Dara'she, dragons who had been banished by their own kind, and forced to live in a human shell to be shamed for eternity. The Dara'she could still track down the other dragons, and they could end this war that had been going on for decades on decades. So four Dara'she were founded, and somehow convinced so that they would help the king find the dragons. They were said not to be trusted, and so while looking for their kin they will be accompanied by some of the king's firsts. A magi, and a "legendary" warrior.

But the journey will be tough, and who's the say the dragons will even help them- if they can find them...

ONCE upon a time fairy tales ran smoothly, the princess always fell in love with the right prince, little red riding hood maintained an "enemies only" relationship with her big bad wolf and good always won.
NOW it's not so simple. Princesses are trained as warriors to protect themselves from whatever villan may come after them. Princes don't always survive their stories even though they are as well trained as the princesses. In the last round, Cinderella fell for the frog prince, the round before that, Little Red killed the wolf on sight.
The fairy tales aren't going as their supposed to and happily EVER AFTER is a thing of the past.

Of Men and Beasts

Shape shifters
Hunted. For as long as there have been shifters men have hunted us down. They kill us or keep us as slaves and pets, it's a horrible existance. Most can't do anything, they shift into mice or birds and they act like the animal, but some of us are different. We were numerous but they hunted us down and murdered our families with dirty tricks.
The lion shifters of the northern forests, burned now only four remain. Hunted for their added ability to create and control ice and stone.
The dragon shifters of the east, murdered now down to four.
Murdered for their flight and breath of fire.
The wolf shifters from the west were poisoned, now down to four.
Killed for their power over electricity and storms.
The pegusis shifters of the south, assasinated and now only four are left.
Murdered for their power of flight and unnatural speed.

These sixteen are the last of the race of shapeshifters able to fight, if they can find eachother they just might be able to take control of the kingdom.

Humans
The kingdom of Lanitir has been the home of two peoples, the shifters and the humans, for as long as anyon can remember. Now King Hollandhoth has put an end to the shifter race nobody will have to live in fear of the beasts again... Or will they?
There is a tension in the air in what should be a time of rejoicing and all able bodied people between fifteen and twenty five are being forcefully inducted to the army.
Sixteen of the strongest still live and if they know of eachother they will bring the kingdom crumbling down.

Fifty years ago Asia ran out of big cities.

Fifteen years ago, Paris fell.
