my mom just got back from the store and says soul silver was sold out, but there was plenty of heart gold

three hours later....SCORE!!!! :o sorry, i just traded my lv. 10 onix for a ***lv 100 espeon*** over wifi plus it was holding a free tm 64 8-) the day before easter, i saw someone trading an espeon for a magikarp...i think there is an espeon breeder giving them away. so for everyone reading this, check out the espeon section every once in a while and you might just get lucky :)

I've been told my choices for a team is pretty weird/unique but that because during the first few gyms I tend to stick with which ever pkmn I catch for my team
Though my team might change slightly when I trade over my old team from pearl :3

You might want to do that, cause they are strong! All the kimono girls have eevee evolutions other than eevee. The first one has Umbereon(dark), than Jolteon(electric) or Espeon(Psychic)comes next IDK which though. Srry!! And then Flareon(Fire) than Vaporeon(Water). VAPOREON PWNS!!!! Its their strongest cause its an awesome tank. next IDK It was so long ago. You might want to train a bit more. Hope this helps^^

I didn't need to trade at all and my friends told me all about them (He's already completed the game, well the Kanto side)
The Vaporeon was hard to defeat but with afew potions, I got through it :3
Now I just need to get through Whirl Islands then Elite Four, here I come ~

Hmm, I can't quite remember what the originals were like but what does anyone else think SS/HG is any harder/challenging than the original games? I'm considering pulling out pkmn crystal to see if it is or not.

Strategy time! I've been meaning to write couter-eeveelution strategies.

Umbreon: Umbreon and Vaporeon are the tanks of the Eeveelutions, Umbreon moreso. The most you can do with Umbreon is blast it with Physical moves, fighting or bug types work best. A Scyther or Scizor with X-Scissor or something with Superpower can do it in.

Espeon: Espeon's strength is in its Special Attack. But poor Espeon is a glass cannon. It can deal the hits but it can't take them. Bite, Crunch, or Faint Attack will work or that Scyther or Scizor with X-Scissor.

Flareon: Oh Flareon. All you wanted was a moveset that would give you STAB and allow you to take advantage of your adequate Attack stat. How unkind the last TWO GENS have been to you. Surf it to death. Moving on.

Jolteon: Jolteon is a FAST mofo. There's a reason Jolteon is a token electric type and has been since the first gen. If you have Earthquake, use it and get Jolteon out of your hair fast. It'll cause you a lot of pain.

Vaporeon: Vaporeon has been a recurring character in my recommendations, now you get to learn how to murder it. Vaporeon's Special Defense is not something to be trifled with, but its Defense is. Ampharos with Thunderpunch or something with Thunder Fang can get a super effective attack and exploit Vaporeon's less than desirable defense.

Why won't Lugia won't stay in the pokeball! D:
I'm trying to catch him only using pokeballs (No greatballs or masterballs) and it's getting on my nervous because he keeps either dying or I run out of balls...

If you can, put him to sleep or paralyze him, then get his hp down just a tad into the red zone, or on the last bit of the yellow zone. When it's almost in between them both it seems to make him calmer...

I have my team ready to beat Red! I got my lv. 100's from Diamond, and I'm going to send them to SoulSilver soon. ]
I have a Lv. 100 Mew, Aggron, Tyrranitar, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Jirachi! I think I've got all the right types to beat his Pokemon.

Reds pokemon are in the mid 80s. His strongest(in my game) were his snorlax and venusaur. He used 5 full restores on that one venusaur!Ijust beat red to seconds ago! yay! And steven was at silph co. and he gave me a female treecko! Yay me! Do you know the chances of a female starter are like 2% chances out of 100%? People who beat red go to oak and steven. Theyll give you some starters. Anyway where can I find bill? I need an eevee, Im not good at that crappy excuse for a game corner!!Help?

You first meet Bill in the Ecruteak Pokemon Center, then he goes home in Goldenrod and that's where you'll find him next. The house is found in the left alley way when you first walk into the town. When you talk to him he'll lvl5 Eevee.

Well, I've caught him now and that was what I did. I swear he had 1hp left and was asleep but he still managed to escape afew times... How is it that a pokemon that is asleep still escape a pokeball :S

I have a ton of female starters. They're not that rare actually. My starter Pokemon on my games are usually girls. Every so often I'll get a boy.
I still need to borrow one of my friends' DS so I can get my team to beat Red. I bet it will be a month before I can get them. :(
