[Merlin's Heir]

Into the cave your weary legs take you. Darkness envelopes you and a wave of sleep washes over you. All light fades as your eyes slowly shut, your back leaning against the rocky wall.
Refreshing sleep leaves you hours later. Darkness is all around you. Which way, which way... Wandering aimlessly in the darkness, coming upon tunnel after tunnel... This mysterious maze all around you is confusing.
A light! A glorious light, firelight, dances upon the jagged walls. To the light you go, to the wonderful gift of warmth and sight. There is a small fire, warm and brilliant. And small lights, metallic, glimmering on the ceiling.
Jewels! Jewels make the metallic lights, dancing to and fro. Surrounding you are rock tables covered in jewels and plaques, runes, inscriptions, cryptic notes. Soft footsteps, fur on stone, ahead of you.
"Welcome," a shadowy figure whispers. "to Cryptic Caves. The Cryptling I am known as." A dark Chocling steps into the firelight, with wise eyes and strong build. No ordinary Chocling. A Cryptling.
"Solve my puzzles, riddles, and cyrptograms," he says, still whispering. "and a gift awaits you."

The Cryptling is a Chocling with immense knowledge and a love of mystery. If you can answer one of his puzzles, he will award you with a prize, a Chocling related to the Cryptling. Good luck...

"Here are my cryptograms, traveler," the Cryptling says, showing you piles of parchment papers. "What your prize will look like depends on the answer of the puzzle. Riddles are described inside; now let's see what you can come up with." Cryptling, smiling, fades back with the darkness, leaving you with his puzzle papers.
