Oh, I saw one of those when I went to the store. Do you just practice on those, or do you hunt actual deer? Also, what kind of bow do you have? I have a recurve.

I'm hoping to get a bow for my birthday
Today I went to a fair and there was an archery thing. So I gave it a go, and before me were some really huge men that were about thirty, and they only hit the target once. I thought I wouldn't even be able to shoot half the way, and in the end I hit the target (not in the middle, but at least I hit it instead of sending them into the grass or into thin air) all three times. I was like: Yeah! Elf power!

In between a beginner and intermediate. I like archery and love to do it, but I have no interest in getting full-out serious about it. I do know quite a bit about archery all around however.

I hunt with a gun, but simply have no interested in hunting archery.

I have not competed yet but have been to multiple competitions for family members and hope to attend some in the future :3

Yeah, kind of. I have made several bows, but I'm not an expert, so mostly my bows are like a bendy stick with a string on it, and they don' t really shoot properly. And I only shot once before with a proper bow, because my friend let me use his but I lost his arrow, so he woudn't let me use it anymore It was much easier than it looked

I've never tried to make a bow, but in third grade, one of my friend's dads made him one, and I gave him one of my arrowheads to use for a little while. XD

Red - I'm nowhere near good enough for actual deer hunting yet. x3 And I don't have the proper equipment, I'd have to get a higher poundage bow, broadheads (Omigawsh those things always look so awesome at the store :O), camo, permit, etc. xP But I hope I can hunt with a bow eventually... i dunno, give it two or three years?

Luna - Lol, nice going! Yeah, some people have to really practice a long tim to have any hopes of hitting the target, while some of us are just naturals I guess and can pick it up real quick. :3 So yay for us, I guess we're the naturals.
