Sandyfern scented the air as the patrol made its way back to camp. Shadepaw was the first to get to camp and she sighed, going to the apprentices den, but not going in.

[walk.]

Emberheart limped up the hill into camp and looked around. He padded over to high rock and lay below it, closing his eyes. Daisyflower padded over to where Fuzzyfur was waiting and nuzzled her friend. She licked her and the duo padded into the warriors den happily. Yellowsparrow looked around, he had no friends so he just sat down and stared at his paws.

Shadepaw glanced around camp and she sighed, then she went to Greystar's den.

Yellowsparrow watched Shadepaw curiously, blushing slightly. It was true he liked her, but he was certain she didn't like him.

A few moments later, Shadepaw and Greystar padded out of the den and Greystar called a Clan meeting.

Emberheart limped up to the high rock and looked at Greystar with a worried expression. Yellowsparrow padded over to high rock, wondering what this was about.

Shadepaw shuffled her paws nervously, then Greystar spoke. "As most of you have heard or seen, there were some of our Clanmates caught at StormClan territory." He meowed, he wasn't going to name the cats, as they should know who they were. "And Shadepaw here was the one who caused it, and she had volunteered to tell everyone why she went onto StormClan territory."

Emberheart looked up curiously, this was why he had followed her in the first place. Emberheart looked over to his daughter with an excited expression. Yellowsparrow looked up at Shadepaw with curious eyes.

Shadepaw jumped onto Highrock when Greystar twitched his tail, and she sat down and looked at her Clanmates, then she stared at her paws nervously before looking back up. "I..." She glanced towards Greystar and the tom nodded. "I'm training in the dark forest, and they told me to go kill a cat."

Emberheart almost choked and stared at her with wide eyes. Hawkpaw stared at his sister and snarled. Brazenpaw stepped back and Goldenpaw squeaked and ran over to Sandyfern. Yellowsparrow jaws dropped and he stood speechless.
