Frida the griffon was curled up on a cloud over Ponyville, watching the ponies below. She was feeling kind of lazy at the moment, but she wasn't always on down time.
She stood up for a moment to stretch, and went into a downward dog pose with a small grunt and lash of her lion tail. Then she gave her eagle wings a nice stretch before sitting down again, feeling pleasantly loosened up.

Rainbow Dash spotted a griffon. How peculiar. Maybe it was one of Gilda's friends?
She giggled devilishly as she grabbed a storm cloud, and jumped on top of it, causing it to thunder.
Big, long jumps caused thunder, short and rapid jumps caused rain, whilst kicking it from underneath made lightning.
She chuckled as she watched for a reaction, giving it another good hard jump as she wanted to make sure she had startled the griffon.

Twilight walked along the road heading for sugar cube corner. She was hoping she would find Pinkie there because she had something to tell her friend.

Celania watched as ponies walked past, wishing she could talk with someone. She looked up and saw Frida resting on a cloud. Before she could fly up she spotted Rainbow dash jumping on a thundercloud right next to the Griffin, and decided against it. "Hello Rainbow Dash" she said, watching the Griffin jump.
(Celania acting like a non-shy everyday pony O.o I think I have writers block.)

Pinkie Pie hummed as she bounced around Sugarcube Corner, balancing a cupcake on her head.
"Wee! Oh, hey Twilight!" She said. She bopped her head up, sending the cupcake into the air. She caught it on her tongue and pulled it into her mouth, eating it. "Tada!" She giggled.
"What's up?" She asked happily, hyper as usual.
