I sort of panicked, I hate breaking trade rules by accident and I rushed back to see what I had done wrong.
That's when I noticed what my eyes had skipped over the first time. Tiny text. Noooooooooo. I didn't notice it the first time through because I wasn't wearing my glasses, and I find it really hard to notice that stuff.
The tiny text was there just to say what the "real codeword" was.
I was really ticked off. I already hate codewords. They're ridiculous and absolutely pointless. If the person doesn't follow your rules, cancel the trade! If they do, accept it! You don't need a codeword, especially not a trick codeword. Cancelling a completely fair trade just because the person didn't see your little trap is so pointless!
Anyways, I wanted the pet so I made the trade again, this time with a really ticked off rant in the message box. Obviously I deleted the rant, haha, never a good idea to send those. xD However, I did send a pretty condescending message back.By the way, I did read your rulesJust thought I'd let you know that your codesentence is really hard to notice. Wouldn't want someone with eye problems to get their trade cancelled for absolutely no reason now, would we? That would make you seem downright rude.
Obviously the trade got cancelled, but if I was in their shoes, I probably would have cancelled too. Those winking smileys are so irritating.
Had I waited before sending the trade back I probably would have just put in the codeword, but I was sorta upset.
That is so annoying! I've been including codewords with the aquarium dog, and I have used them for dreamies, but usually I refuse to acknowledge them. Hiding the real codeword in tiny letters, saying:
"If you want your trade cancelled, put the codeword 'bananas'"
constantly changing codewords, it's just so, so obnoxious and even if I can only see one I'm sure there's another one hiding on the page somewhere. If I offered them a UR tiger for this month's trade doubles would they cancel if I didn't put the codeword?
This! I have actually found one person who had broken their codeword into individual letters intersperced in their rules and expected me to read them all and put the letters together? Sorry. No thanks *clicks the back button XD*
