Jack sighed and stood up, the night's sleep finally having returned his energy. It was about mid day now, and he felt like he needed to stretch his legs. Nodding to the others, he leapt of the moving cart and untied Geal from the back, picking up her bridle in the process. Mounting, he rode ahead of the others, breathing in deeply and looking at the countryside. He cantered for a while, and soon the wagon was out of view. Jack smiled and patted the bay's neck, glancing upwards suddenly as he heard voices ahead. Skidding to a halt, he tethered Geal behind a high bush and hid behind it himself, glancing through the foliage at a gathering of soldiers, maybe twenty, that marched past him. Baring his teeth frustratedly, Jack felt the urge to jump out and fight them, as they would soon take the others by surprise. Frank and Emerald and the others were unarmed, but so was he, and he knew he couldn't take down so many soldiers with his bare hands. Narrowing his eyes, he watched them go past, before quickly going towards his horse and mounting her in one elegant jump, following the company from some distance and desperately hoping that the others had weapons at hand.
((I decided to throw in a bit of action, this was kind of dying
