Sootpaw hesitated before scenting the air. "umm I don't smell much." she replied quietly. "just fox. It smells faint and stale." she added.

His eyes widened while sitting on a branch. DustPaw tucked in his paws and curled up his tail, looking at Greynose and what he would do. The tom wanted his mentor to be proud of him, just like any other apprentice. But he didn't know what move to make, to hiss or to stay quiet and act as if he wasn't there.

Greynose got himself ready to leap at the fox, but suddenly, there was a flash on white fur, then black and white fur. Snowpaw had run at the fox and slashed its muzzle while Ravenpaw bit its tail, the two apprentices came out of nowhere. The fox yelped.

Sootpaw nodded and looked around. She hoped they wouldn't run into a fox. She took a step forward and smelled more fox scent.

Hearing the faint yelp, RainDapple looked at SootPaw, alarmed. "Comon." Her voice was just a whisper right before her ears pricked up, trying to catch more of the noise.

Right there, he knew what he needed to do, weather he got in trouble or not. Rising himself off the branch, he charged at the fox, trying to bite its ear but he got kicked off. Trying again for the same move, DustPaw's claws dug into the fox's fur.

It's this way..." sootpaw said looking out through the trees. She began walking and the scent grew stronger. She glanced back at Raindapple.

Greynose sighed and he lunged himself at the fox, landing on it back. Ravenpaw kept pulling on the foxes tail and it yelped again. Snowpaw eye's widened as the fox snarled at her and snapped at her, she tried to duck, but the fox grabbed hold of her neck and the white she-cat shrieked in pain as the foxes teeth dug into her neck.

Walking along with SootPaw, the warrior sped up when she heard a different yelp. Her ears were high on her head with her eyes wide. She didn't know what was happening, but it wasn't good for sure.

When he heard his crushes yelp, fury and irritation ran through him. His claws stopped digging into the foxes fur, his hind legs did so while DustPaw's claws started pawing its muzzle for the fox to open it and let go of the she-cat.

Sootpaw eyes widened and she began to run towards the sound. She stopped dead when she saw the fox and snowpaw in it's jaws. She looked at greynose then back to snowpaw.

Ravenpaw pulled so hard on the foxes tail that he broke it. The fox yelped, pain in its tail from Ravenpaw and pain on its face from Dustpaw, and it dropped Snowpaw.
