Rabbitfoot was the first to notice the NightClan warriors and he hissed. "What are NightClan warriors doing here!" He spat. Shadepaw turned and stared at the patrol.

Spiderheart nodded. "Of course." He meowed, and then he went to grab some comfrey, but stopped when he heard a hiss outside the den. "That doesn't sound good."

[walk.]

Mudstar looked over and said, "Calm Rabbitfoot, let them speak." Mistdance trotted over to her mate and peered at the patrol and commented, "They can't defeat all of us."

Emberheart turned his head and said, "Night clan patrol, probably come to take Shadepaw and I home but I can't get over the thunder path with a broken shoulder."

Spiderheart nodded, and he got the comfrey and chewed it before putting it on Emberheart's shoulder. "Don't worry, they wouldn't really fight to get you and Shadepaw back.

Rabbitfoot nodded, and he flickered his tail. "True, they can't." He meowed. Rosepetal looked at Mudstar and growled. "We would be pleased if you could give us back Emberheart and Shadepaw, Mudstar."

[walk.]

Emberheart looked at him with a worried expression and murmered, "That is where you are wrong....." he looked out to them with a longing expression.

Mudstar mewed, "Well, tresspassers have to pay the price so Shadepaw has agreed to stay with us for a moon and Emberheart will not be able to pass over the thunder path in his current situation so he is being treated here as a guest."

Rosepetal blinked her eyes. "We've caught many StormClan cats on our borders, and not once have we taken them to our camp, even if they were injured. We can manage to get Emberheart across the thunderpath.

Spiderheart flicked an ear. "I'll handle it." He muttered. "I've finished putting the comfrey on, your shoulder will be fine in three days, by the next gathering, so you can go back to NightClan at the gathering, but just rest in one of the empty nests and try not to move your shoulder much." He meowed, and he padded out of the medicine cat den

Emberheart nodded and limped over to the nests and lay down in it. They were made of thistle and lined with itchy meadow grass, not the twig based moss beds of night clan which he knew and loved. He tried to relax but it was prooving hard.

Mudstar said, "The same applys to us, we have caught scent of many of your warriors on our territory and for a long while haven't done anything about it, but these cats actually were unlucky enough to come across a patrol. Spiderheart, will Emberheart make it across thunder path?"

Spiderheart shook his head. "He will not, if he tries his shoulder will get worse, and he will surly be hit too." He meowed. Rosepetal growled and rolled her eyes. "We will be able to send Emberheart back to NightClan at the gathering in a few days."

[walk.]

Yellowsparrow snarled and said, "You will give us Emberheart now!" Daisyflower looked at Mudstar pleadingly but the leader sneered and said, "Take them all away." a crowd of storm clan began to advance and a burly Tom grabbed Daisyflower and began to pull her away, the tiny cat screeching.

Rosepetal spat and slashed at the cat that had grabbed Daisyflower, but she was pinned by Spiderheart. "Let them go!" Shadepaw yowled.

[walk.]

Mistdance ran forward and mewed, "Don't argue!" she began to pull the she cat towards the prison. She thrust the apprentice in. The Tom shoved Rosepetal out of the way and tugged at her pelt and thrust them into a prison. But suddenly five cats appeared in the camp. Emberheart yowled with excitement! His brothers and sister. They began slashing at the storm clan cats and yowled, "Run!"
