Nightshade let out a grunt as his paw twitched and he rose out of his slumber. Opening heavy eyelids, he let out a large yawn - sharp teeth bared. He licked his jaws and rose to large powerful paws, arching his back and stretching. Relaxing and blinking stunning emerald eyes, he began to weave between dedicated warriors into the dawn light. By the looks of it, the dawn patrol was just leaving consisting of Tigerpaw, Raccoonstrike, Fernfur and Featherpaw. He glanced and saw Shadowstar eating a meal but didn't bother to join her for he was ready for his morning routine. He padded over, gave her a curt, respectful nod and picked up a plump vole, rabbit, and mouse, struggling to gather them all and hold them all in his jaws. Flicking his tail to his leader he trotted to the nursery, squeezed in, and immediately a purr rumbled through the tom's throat. He dropped the vole off at Ospreyfeather's paws and then joined his own mate and kits. Fawnkit bounced right up to him and began rubbing against his legs. "Hello, love." He purred part to Fawnkit and part to Ashcloud.

Kestrelsong had completed her vigil and was dead-tired. When the dawn patrol was leaving she already knew that it was over and see just rose without greeting anybody and pushed through the fern thicket and headed straight for the warrior's den, everything around her completely ignored. If somebody would talk to her, she might rip their heads off. She half stumbled into half fell into the warrior's den and didn't even care who's nest she was in - it was empty and temporarily her's. She fell asleep within one minute.

Tigerpaw had been up early and notified she was on the dawn patrol by Shadowstar. She grumbled and began to tackle Featherpaw as they waited to move out. When the warriors left she followed and Featherpaw trailed behind.

Ashcloud yawned. She nuzzled Nightshade's cheek. "Allo, love," she purred.

Fernfur bounced up to Featherpaw. "Oi! Battle training, you and me, now," she purred.

Fernfur...
Fernfur padded beside her apprentice calmly. They nearly blended into each other, they were walking closely and their silver pelts gleamed in the impending dawn that would bring light to all four territories. "Dawn patrol. Is this your first time?" she asked Featherpaw. And then she realized what a stupid question that was. Fernfur shook her head. "Never mind."

Featherpaw let out a little giggle when Fernfur asked the question. Her tabby stripes moved rythmetically with every step. Her gaze was in front of her, gathering information and memory of the territory. She had only been out one other time since she had joined ShadeClan - and she vaguley remembered it at all.

[ Umm how is Featherpaw ten moons old when she's only recently been made an apprentice...? lol ]

Fernfur nodded. She seemed to understand her apprentice's silence. Not too long ago—in fact it had been only one quarter moon ago—she had been a kit.

Falconpaw was woken by Rockpaw's restless twitching in his nest. "Stop kicking me, mouse-brain!" He cursed angrily, hissing and spitting and being cranky from staying up the night before. His pale brown tabby pelt was dirty and unkempt, but he was too tired to care. With an angry growl, he shoved Rockpaw out of their nest.

Rockpaw was startled away when he hit the ground with a thud. Falconpaw's jade eyes were piercing into his, and he realized he must've done something to annoy his brother while he was sleeping. "Sorry," He murmured quietly, looking at his soft white paws. He had been dreaming about when he was trying to help Pouncerpaw, and when she fell and broke her leg, losing her tail as well. She had been moved to the medicine den the night before, but he was still worried about her welfare.

Shadowheart snored quietly in his nest, no chance of him waking up any time soon. He was really tired from his walk in the woods with Fernfur the previous night, and his restless, nightmare-filled nights in the days before. His sleek black pelt gleamed in the morning sunlight. (Gah wb I'm on my phone)
