I've been meaning to write this for a long time, but I've been...afraid.
I'm still afraid but I couldn't fight the urge anymore so....here it is.

Mom would have cried,
If she has seen you standing there.
But she couldn't take the pain,
thinking you wouldn't survive.


When I saw you standing there,
I looked away and shed a tear.
"Momma said you wouldn't come."
I said and turned to you.
You said, "I'll always come home, because I love you too."

My attempt at a poem. I got bored and this idea ended up popping into my head, so I gave in and let my muse take over for awhile.
