His own problems had been slow. Injuries from other dogs, infection, starvation, the pain of watching death, humans. So many things had scarred him, slow and right before his very eyes. Things he could not wipe out of his mind. Imagining it as red, his mind a white satin cloth. So much red, unable to ever be completely washed out.

(I got that from some movie.)

Blossom stood up, looking at the dogs. "All of you all right?"

[pouty]

" If I knew where he was I would ask what his trick is. " His voice was just a quiet mumble. He sat down, moving the paw with the cats around to make it comfortable for him to sit. How he hated that cats. It was heavier than the normal weight of his paw and it slowed him down a lot. Besides, when he would get used to it, the vets would take it off and he would need to ' learn to walk ' again. His eyes were still fixed on the pups, examining if they got hurt in any way.

"their fine" she said.

Cobalt flinched. He mumbled uncomprehendale words. They weren't even intended to be words.

"You can't be sure of that. " He kept his voice soft but firm, as if a command. Jake kept his eyes on the female and her actions. His paw kept moving to try and make herself comfortable with the cast on. He kept growling to himself, irritated by the cast.

Sky moved so the pups were inbetween them. she watched them while still alert for anything that could hurt them.

Cobalt began to gnaw on the table again, then passed out. He hadn't gotten a shot for it, just passed out.
