Regalis shook his head and tendrils of power flowed from his body. Slowly they faded.

Elanor left out another smile as she got up. The midday sun in the forest made everything shine in golden tones, and she felt that that was her home.

Evarinya slowly stepped back, feeling guilty for watching, even though she'd never seen either of those elves in her life. (Elanor and Regalis if that's okay) She found it difficult not to try to be quiet, even though the spells she had cast prevented her from being seen or heard. The two elves she had been watching were about a hundred yards from her house, which had been built to look exactly like a normal tree. A few months ago she'd been walking through the forest when Rajira had walked straight into -and literally into- a large tree. The door had been disguised by magic to look like nothing was there. The spell fed off the energy of the trees around it, so it would last as long as the trees. ((Okay I'm getting way too much of this from eragon! lol)) She put her hand through the door first, just to make sure, and out of habit, before she went in. There was a spiraled staircase that went up about fifty feet, And it led out to a huge wooden globe, disguised by the canopy of the tree. The branches grew out of the globe, and thick leaves surrounded it. There were windows that could see out of the canopy, but were completely invisible from the inside. When Star got to the top of the stairway, she released the spells she had placed to keep her hidden, and startled Rajira, who had been sleeping in the corner. When she saw Evarinya she leapt up and jumped on her, licking her hand like a puppy. "Shhhh! Be quiet, I don't want anyone hearing you!" She said in a loud whisper. Rajira, being extremely intelligent, and understanding every word of what her master had told her, sat in front of her, and gave her the eyes. Star sighed, and bent down, stroking the beautiful wolf's head. Rajira gave her another lick on the cheek, and returned to her nap.

Lina saw the tipof an orange tail wagging and poking out from behind a tree. A wolf's tail wagging? She went over to investigate.

Hunter walked slowly through the bushes seeing Elanir and Regalis. He barked and ran up to them.

Another dog...this just kept getting weirder...

Elanor saw the dog, and leaped to her feet, taking a slightly defensive position, as she spoke slowly and in a calm tone. ''Cer tolael os si shyr, shi tael bai cas sai o bys sai os ordaes.'' Hush children of the wolves, we mean no harm to you nor to your owners. The elvish melodical words, spoken both aloud and into the dog's head, were destined to calm him. Elanor's knowledge on Ancient Elvish, the only form of spoken language animals could understand, wasn't big, but that should do.

Regalis let a low growl escape his lips and he shifted so smoothly nd gracefully into a defensive crouch that it couldn't of been a human move. He reached his mind out and found two other elves and the two wolves. We are not alone. He told Elanor. He growled low and threatening. his chest vibrated and his growl rose until it sounded almost exactly like a lion preparing to fight with a rival.

''I know'' she whispered. ''Up in the tree there are others, isn't it?'' she asked. She had sensed them, flinching into her powers for a second. All the consciences around looked like whirls of colours matching each one's emotions, until she focused - or the 'gift' forced her to focus - on one single spot. Then she would feel their emotions as if they were hers. But that time, she used the small insight to count the ones around them without really focusing on any. Animal's minds were different, so she could feel too the two wolves Regalis had found. But no conscience seemed to want to attack or harm the, so she didn't worry. Not too much.
