Roadkill

"I guess it's time to tell you more about me." RK took out the small golden clock and held it, swinging, infront of him. "For one, you are dead, so I would stop looking for a pulse if I were you. It's a bit pointless." There was a faint reflection of trees in the glass over the clock's face. The onyx hands reflected the moonlight; making small patches of light on Corpse's clothes. "My name is Roadkill. Roadkill Korre Raven. Um...i'm 666 years old." Seeing the expression on his face she added "I'm immortal" She jerked her clock back to her chest then put it back around her neck. She stared at the empty face of the clock; thinking of the meaning of the missing numbers and small black marks. "Well?" she snapped. "So, aren't any of you going to introduce yourselves!?" she called to her friends.

Corpse

Corpse suddenly crashed back to reality. He sat; staring at Roadkill breathlessly. "I...i'm Bonet-CORPSE! Call me Corpse!" he managed to spit out. "I'm only 15 now...so you're saying that I can't die? I could live to be-well I can't call it living but you get it." He stood up and looked around. "I can stand!" he shouted. "But I was so weak...will I always recover this fast now?" Corpse closed his eyes and listened to sound of Roadkill breathing. "I can hear much better too. What's that smell?" he asked as the scent of blood drifted towards him. He began to move towards RK but stopped and turned around. He faced Evangeline and took a deep breath. "It's you." he said darkly. He quickly grabbed his sword and held it down by his side. He turned to Roadkill for a brief second before turning back to Evangeline. "I'm immortal." he whispered. I'm practically invincable with this, he thought; tapping the sword against his black boot.
