Diana nodded, sadly. "i remember that feeling when my brother was around. i still feel it, but it's not the same, but i still have a family... but why would he abandon you like that? i could ask my father the same question if he was alive." she looked at the wedding ring. "is that a wedding ring? are you getting married?" she grins. "i've never been to a wedding before." "you've never been to anything before." Altair muttered in his sleep. "oh shush, Alty." Diana giggled, softly so she wouldn't wake anyone. "you shush." Altair grumbled and began mumbling and Diana didn't understand a thing he said. "...what?" Diana asked. "merghabletubluh..." Diana stared. "he really must be asleep..."

Emerald sighed, frowning deeper when Diana asked why her father would abandon her. "I think he was scared. He didn't know what to do, so he ran. And he never forgave himself, so that's why he did what he did to me." She shook her head and giggled when Diana asked about the ring. "No, I'm not getting married." She glanced at the front of the cart before looking back at Diana. "As least not yet." she whispered before giggling again. "It's my father's ring, the one my mother gave him when they got married."

Diana giggled. "if you do end up getting married, would i be invited?... well, first you have to know me a longer time, but... would i?" she smiled, playing with her necklace for a little bit, then got back to untangling her hair, still listening. Altair turned over a couple of times, muttering in his sleep things he himself would not understand. he even said, "trees. just trees" at some point that made Diana look over at him with a confused look on her face. she looked back at Emerald, giggling.

Emerald couldn't help but laugh. "Of course you'll be invited. You can be the flower girl." she said, ripping off a piece of bread and putting it in her mouth. Also with a confused look, she looked over at Altair as he mumbled before laughing quietly. "Is he okay?" she asked.

Diana smiled. "flowergirl, yay!" she giggled and looked over at Altair as he said, "if you get that thing near me, i will... i will... cry..." and he snored. "he always does this. it's hard to get use to." she giggled. "he'll be find. just don't wake him up or else." she smiled softly, easedropping at what Altair is saying. "just cuddle with me... butterfly... cuddle with me..." he continued. Diana giggled. "he's funny when he's asleep. best of all, he denys everything whenever i confront him."

Emerald giggled as she listened to Altair sleep talk. "Well, now you've got a witness so he can't deny it anymore. We'll need to ask him who butterfly is." she joked with another quiet laugh. This little girl wasn't as bad as she first thought she would be. She noticed her trying to untangle her hair and Emerald reached into a bag and pulled out a hairbrush. "Here, use this." she said, handing it to Diana.

Diana took the brush and smiled. "thank you." and began to brush her hair and listened to what Altair was saying. "nooo, i'm sorry i squished you ms. butterfly, please forgive me. mr.chair! you did this, didn't you? mother- (cussword)" Diana listened to what he said and looked at Emerald as she was brushing her hair. "what does that mean?" she asked, curiously. she never heard Altair say any bad words before until now.

Emerald held back a laugh at Altair's sleep talking. She had never heard someone talk like this in their sleep before and she found it quite amusing. When he said the last word, her eyes went wide and she kicked Altair in his stomach, not hard enough to do any damage but enough to wake him up. "It means nothing." she said quickly to Diana. "But you must never say that word."

Altair immediately woke up and held up a daggar. "who was it?! who woke me up?!" that outburst woke up Desmond. "huh?" he muttered. "what's going on?" "Emerald woke Altair up." Diana grinned. "he said a very bad word and was talking about butterflies." Altair scoffed and put his daggar away. "Was not. i was sleeping silently as usual, until she kicked my stomache for no aparent reason." Desmond grinned, he found this amusing. "sleep talking again, Altair?" he teased him. "was not!" Altair continued to deny all of this.

Jack rubbed his eyes wearily, the blurry vision of Emerald and Diana coming into focus. Groaning, he sat up, realising he had fallen asleep on the haystack at some point during the night. Most of them were sleeping, and he could vaguely hear someone talking about squashing a butterfly. Frowning sleepily, he yawned, jumping down onto the wooden floor of the cart, and jumped slightly when he saw that the person that was speaking was actually asleep, and saying rather rude words. Still yawning, he walked towards the driver' s seat, sitting down beside Frank.
"I will take over if you want" he said, noticing that the man hardly had the reins grasped in his hands, so Jack automatically picked them up. "You should all rest, I've been sleeping almost all night, I' ll drive during the day" he offered with a smile.
