Tony glanced down at the slightly annoying child who complained about her "tummy". With a roll of his eyes, Tony looked up at Thor and replied, "We take her to Fury. He'll figure something out." He looked around base and wondered where the stern but fair Nick Fury was.

Male I Loki I Talking

Loki didn't turn to look at his ally. He wasn't even sure if he could call her an ally for she was untruthful at times. The driver of the yellow cab asked where they were heading and Loki responded with a curt, "A hotel. Outside of New York City." The man nodded and began driving.

After at least 20 minutes of driving, they stopped at a trashy hotel outside of New York City. Loki narrowed his eyes at the small, dirty building and sighed. He paid the man, with money he "might" have taken, and then hopped out of the car as he examined the hotel. "The mortal running this building needs to learn how to put gold pavement along the sides." Loki thoughtfully said before strolling along towards the entrance.

After getting out of the taxi, I watched it speed off before looking back at the hotel in front of us. Honestly, I this place is a dump, but at least its somewhere no one would expect us to be. Quetzalcoatl sat at my feet still as a cat and shrugged, "I've seen much worse." I agreed with that, being I'd been in the same place at the time. I watch the sidewalks, seeing few people walking on them, "At least we won't draw too much attention." I muttered.

Thor nodded. "Fine, let's go. We should hurry, because I'm hungry." He glanced down at the little girl with narrowed eyes. "And I don't do well with little children when I'm hungry."

Sekhmet hopped out of the 'copter and waited behind the Avengers for their leader to appear. Whom ever he was, he must have been extremely powerful to have recruited such beings as Thor and the man of iron. She looked up, making an expression as if her feelings were hurt. "I'm sorry..."

Nick Fury exited the building and headed toward his Avengers. He had things to do and couldn't be bothered with thing such as whether or not a child was capable of shape-shifting. If she was in fact, Sekhmet, they'd slap an Inhibitor collar on her, jack it up to as high as it could go, and send her on her merry way. "Stark, brief me." He said as he approached the team.

Tony looked over at Thor and shook his head. "Then it's best if you go get something to eat. Take, uh, Cap with you." He said gesturing the two to leave as he discussed things with Fury. He turned to look back at him and pointed to the small child, saying, "Alright, is this child a shapeshifter or not? Nightshade over there thinks that she is some sort of goddess and I, well, I'm not sure what to believe." He crossed his arms and he looked up at him.

Loki just gave an awkward nod, in return, before entering the horrid building. The inside had drapes that were filled with dust, covering the small windows, and a small pale white couch lay in the center of the room. The receptionist looked at the two with much interest. Loki was more of the intriguing one in the man's eyes.

Walking over to the front desk, Loki asked, "Two suitable rooms...please." The man nodded and handed him the room keys.

Sekhmet waved at The director. "Hi~!" She said with a smile. "Is my mommy here to get me?"

Fury crouched down to her level and looked her in the eye. "Usually with shapeshifters, there's a feature that stays constant throughout all of their transformations, Usually voice frequency. A rarer, but no less obvious constant is their eye color. They can change it, but it usually shows through anyway." The girl seemed relatively unaffected b what he'd just said and continued smiling and speaking about her mother. He looked up at Tony. "We Have a specialist on Egyptian Gods and Shapeshifters coming in."

Clint picked up his bow and followed everyone out of the aircraft. He ran a hand over his bow and smiled.
