Shelby bonked her self on the head with the palm of her hand. I forgot my phone! she thought as she ran back to her apartment. She grabbed her phone off the counter and looked down at her dog, bear. "Want to come bear?" She asked giggling. She picked up her dog and started back on the sidewalk, her sunglasses on , her iPod playing music, and her dog walking on the ground beside her. She she walked a couple blocks, which seemed more like a couple miles, until she reached the beach. She squealed with excitement, it was one of the only good beaches that allowed pets. She walked down to the sand and put a stake in the ground that held bears leash, even though bear wouldn't go anywhere, it was the rules. She turned on a random song that was on her playlist and flipped threw a magazine, the sun beating on her bare skin. She now wore a swimsuit her old best friend got her for her birthday.

Chase rode around on his skate board head phones in. He hummed along with the song he was occupied by. He saw a couple people with dogs, but skated past them and continued on his journey. He wasn't quite sure where he was going, but just kept skating. He walked until he came to a skate park, he smiled and grabbed his board before jogging in. It wasnt anything special, but it was cool. He climbed up a ramp and waited at the top, waiting for his turn.

" Nice to meet you! And you too." I say looking at the dog and smiling. I had a thing for dogs. I look at all of the dogs together, they made a awkward team, but they were all so cute together.

I nodded once. "Uh, yeah.." I said to the girl. "My dad works in the Navy." I added, shy as always. Samantha sat down in front of me, and I could tell I wasn't going to be going anywhere now.

Skylar smiled at Arieli. "You too." She said, then looked back at Kendall. "Oh. My dad was in the army for a few years when I was little. But he came home to be with me and my mom." She said, then looked down, not mentioning her father's death after that. Ace sat down as well, his tongue hanging out of his mouth as he panted.

She walked to the beach, still listening to her music. Luckily, she was wearing her bathing suit underneath her clothes, just in case she did go to the beach. She took the clothes off, revealing a white and pink bathing suit.She felt the sand between her toes, which were painted pink. She laid her clothes down into the sand and walked to the ocean. She felt the waves lap at her toes.

He parked at the beach. He got out of his car and grabbed his phone. He checked for any texts but he didn't have any. He took his shirt off and put it in his car. He walked to the beach and looked around. It was pretty hot so he walked to the ocean. He walked into the ocean, which felt pretty good.

"They really are," I said to her. "My adoptive dad is in Afghan. right now, actually. Well, he's been there for a year now. But because of him, I'm going to become a Marine." I added, technically talking to both of the girls. "Looks like all three of us have something to relate to, then." I added.

Skylar listened, her eyes bright. "Looks like we do. And that's great, that you're going to be a marine." She said kindly. She thought about what she wanted to do when she was older.

Shelby stood up brushing the sand off her tan body. She made her way towards the ocean and smiled when the little holes appeared on the ground from so called 'crabs' but she never actually saw the crabs, so she didn't really believe it. She grabbed her phone and snapped a picture of the ocean with the sky and the 'sand crabs holes' "Instagram!" She said quietly before putting the picture on instagram. She smiled slightly and threw her phone back on her towel before walking into the chilly water.
