If you have the time; could you make one on Lance? I'm still struggling with Clair; and I'm guessing that he's going to be even harder.

Lance is pretty easy since everything on his team (with the exception of Gyarados) can be brought down with Water types packing Ice moves and Surf. Either something with a high-defense like Lapras or Vaporeon or high-speed like Starmie will work.

Starmie is perfect for this battle since it's fast and can hit hard, but if its target outruns it it's a cointoss whether it lives or dies. Lapras is Starmie without the fast part and comes with redonkulous HP and Vaporeon can take a beating pretty well.

For Gyarados a fast Electric type (lol redundant) will work. Gyarados has a high attack score, but its special moves also hurt. Ampharos is pretty decent even though it's fairly slow, but it can take a hit or two. Raichu works too if you have it. Unfortunately, it's only obtainable from evolved event Pikachus. If you got the Yellow Forest Pokewalker route, the Surfing Pikachu from Battle Revolution, or your Pikachu colored Pichu from the Wifi event, you can snag a Raichu. Theoretically you can use a Rock type but Gyarados has a Water move, so that would be silly.

Basically, moves to use are...
Ice Beam/Blizzard (I prefer Ice Beam, it's slightly weaker but it has 100 accuracy and 95 power is no spit in the ocean) for his Dragonites.
Surf for Aerodactyl and Charizard.
Any given Electric move (Starmie can learn Thunder and I'm pretty sure it can learn Thunderbolt) for Gyarados.

Yes, I do suggest Vaporeon a lot because for HGSS it's a very useful Water type, but Lapras can replace Vaporeon if you evolved your Eevee into something else. Lapras can be found in Union Cave on Fridays (which is today! Go get one!)

Ditto are ridiculously easy to find on Route 47. You need Waterfall to get there though.
