Band/Artist recommendations: Los Campesinos!, Marina and the Diamonds, the Black Keys, the Arctic Monkeys
Song recommendations: Nope.
Favorite genre: I'm fine with anything, so just check these bands/artists out, they're no specific genre anyway... except the Black Keys and the Arctic Monkeys, which are probably rock.

you got some good bands der C: but anyway if you're a fan of the harder alternative and what not you should check out the used! and if you're more into the chilled alternative Beck is pretty fantastic. and for the fans of Blink, you should get into Boxcar Racer, angel and airwaves, or Plus 44. if you're into 90's grunge then nirvana is like a god. and as for the classic rock.... iron maiden, pink floyd, alice in chains baby! anyway my favorite genre is probably either alternative or grunge.

You should definitely listen to Alt-J and Blind Archery Club, they're both really good, very diverse but really good music. Alt-J are rather nerdy and a sort of 'indielectual' band, but the sound they produce is fantastic. I'd advise listening to Matilda or Breezeblocks to begin with, though to start don't watch the music video, as it's rather distracting from the music itself. Blind Archery Club's 'High On Morning Dew' has recently become one of my favourite tracks, it's just very simple and easy to get lost in.

[ON HIATUS, PROBABLY FOR A LONG TIME, SORRY EVERYONE BUT GCSES TAKE PRECEDENCE]

Two other bands are Boys like Girls and The Break and repair method
both are very different
Boys like Girls is kinda like All Time Low and stuff like that
Songs by them to look up
Five minutes to midnite

two is better than one
The Break and Repair Method is kinda different. Songs have realy good meanings and sound cool and differnt.
