He had fallen in love with her the moment he saw her when her father took the merdogs captive.
But he could not profess his love without dishonoring himself and his kingdom.
He slipped her a small gold locket with a note inside that read…

She was ashamed to be a Sharkdog when her father took captive the merdogs.
She frequently visited the prisoners and saw him for the first time, behind the algae encrusted bars.
One day, he slipped her a locket he wore, made of gold and golden thread.
She quickly returned to her palace room before reading what was left inside.

It was just another Saturday, 4 o' clock, I was with my buds when it happened. I was doing a routine, on the ground, upside-down, when I saw her. She was getting ice cream, right across the street. Her beautiful red hair coming loose from it's braid, her glasses sliding down her nose. And guess what I did. I fell down on my butt. They laughed at me, I never did that. I got up, muttering, "Yeah, whatever, shut up guys," and then, she looked over at me. I could of swore my face turned bright red, like the tomato I slipped on and then crashed into those trash cans. More laughter. "Just my luck," I say and stand up, ignoring the hand from my main man. I looked over at where she used to be. I looked around nervously and wheeled around at that perfect voice, "Are you okay?" she asked me. I couldn't find words, I was trapped in the gentle gaze of her deep blue eyes. I was jumbled for words, her eyes searching my green ones. Untill I felt a hard knock in my back which brought me back to reality. "Wake up, bozo," my bud Corbin said. I shook my head and rubbed the back of my neck, looking back into her eyes, "Yeah, thanks," I say letting the smile rise to play onto my lips.

"Good," she said to me. I smiled again, and glanced back at those freaks who I hanged out with, they were making goo goo eyes at me. I rolled my eyes and looked back at her, "I'm Robin, by the way. I was just watching you dance, you're really good," she said, holding out a paw. I shook it without thinking, "I'm Timothy, it's nice to meet you," I said smiling, again. I suddenly recoiled on myself, why didn't I tell her my street name, I didn't tell anyone my real name. I growled at myself in my head, and then laughed lightly, my cheeks redning. "I was wondering if you would like to come and maybe rehearse some routines with me and my friends for a showcase coming up. I think you should be in it," she said, taking out a pen and paper and writing a address on it. I smile taking the slip of paper, and nod, no words coming out as I got lost in her eyes again. I noticed her face redden, all the way up to her ears! That was so attractable to me. I waved to her as she went and looked down at the slip of paper, memorizing the address. I flipped it over and noticed a number scribbled down. I smiled and turned to my friends, slipping the paper into my pocket. "Let's go, boys," I say grabbing their shoulders and pushing them down the sidewalk, not wanting to wait untill the next night.

I just sat in the surf shop, doing my job with Travis, when I began to daydream.I love him..I thought he loved me too..No. He'd fallen for another. Should've seen this coming. Maybe if I'd been faster..But it's not me.It's never me.

Travis
She was just sitting there..Looking at nothing.Probably thinking about the guy she likes..The one that's definitely not me.

I skipped into the shop, stopping to kiss Travis while Bridgette was looking. She fumed of course, which delighted me. Little Travis was lovestruck for me..But I only did it to show up Bridgette.

We were from different worlds, well never mind. Not really, we lived in the same town even, so what I meant is he was popular and I was not. We were actually more alike than most people thought, then I thought even, but I didn't realize it at first. I was a surfer and a runner. He was a lifeguard, a surfer, and if that wasn't good enough he played water polo as well. We weren't exactly the same though, while his longish black hair helped him blend in [if a popular could "blend in"] and my fiery red hair, that really did look like fire when the wind caught the deep red and brown color in the sun, did the exact opposite. It also didn't help that my dad was his boss, and he was a year older than me too, but oh well, I fell for him anyways.
I woke up to the salty tang of the ocean, I loved waking up to that smell, and immediately knew today would be perfect for surfing. I must have gotten it from my dad, but just from the smell I could tell that the swell were going to be huge. I smiled and quickly slipped into my favorite neon pink sports bra, and skimpy looking, but comfortable, gray and pink sweat shorts. I tied my hair up as I looked for my running shoes, and then ended up deciding against them anyways, knowing I wouldn't venture off the beach. I passed on breakfast as I headed out the door and towards Wakana Cove, I glanced around as I was running and saw three surfers out in the water. I watched as one tried to catch a wave that I could already tell, he wasn't going to be able to make. I snickered to myself and shook my head, then went back to counting the beats of my footsteps, "1...2...1," I mumbled to myself as I picked up my pace a bit. After about ten more minutes, I made it to my turn around point, spun and started back along the shore. I looked out for the surfers again, but didn't see them, when a male's voice made me jump and stumble to the side. "Looking for us?" it taunted as I turned towards the speaker. I smiled and shook my head seeing it was them, the popular boys, I always ended up running into them, most of the time literally, I would run into them. "Is it your life's goal to get me to wet myself?" I asked a hint of fake accusation mixing with my tinkly voice. They all smiled, "Maybe it is.." one of the three said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and began to run again, "Bye boys!" I yelled, but I only made it ten feet before all three were chasing after me and trying to run with me. They were all trying so hard to beat one another, that they didn't even notice when I stopped dead in my tracks, and turned to go into my house.

Not really sure where I was going with this, but I think I'll continue... :3 I enjoyed writing this much!

"i'm so bored..."
she muttered to herself, pulling out her phone to quickly check the time. she was startled by a familiar voice, and a very familiar face next to her. "oh i know, so i am." he sat beside her, smiling and laughing. she laughed with him, and put her phone back in her pocket. "it seems weird, but i love your shoes..." she had said, just realized how much she fancied his popular hightops. "nice to know. yours aren't too bad." he pointed at her own hightops, not as stylish. he proceeded to give her a funny grin, and sat in front of her cross-legged. he took her shoes off and took his shoes off as friends gathered and giggled. "what are you doing?" she asked between a few giggles, her feet tickling as he took them off. "switching shoes. i like yours." she nodded carefully and loved the looseness of his shoes as he put them on her. he put her shoes on himself and looked ever so stylish. to his friends, all male, he proceeded to strut around like a girl. she couldn't help but laugh, "i don't want your shoes, boy." she said, smiling brightly. she got up and he ran away slowly, "if you want yours back..." she nodded in agreement and gestured for him to continue. he started to run like an olympic runner; faster than she ever could. "then you'll have to catch me!" she sprung up and chased after him slowly, and feeling a bit ill, she slowed down. he kept running and stopped as he noticed she stopped. as soon as she caught her breath, she ran after him and just pinched the sleeve of his jacket. he sped up, quickly avoiding her swift manouvers.

suddenly, she fell to the ground after tripping over a fairly large rock. he flipped around in awe, laughing for a split second then realizing she was just laying there. he ran to her side, his best friend still not moving.
"hey? hello? say something! are you okay?" he said too fast for her, if she was awake, to even realize. she got up slowly and he sighed in relief. "ouch..." she muttered slowly and quietly, cradling her knee. "oh my god, my knee hurts so much..." he helped her up and silently helped her inside, his friends gaping at her knee. her skinny jeans were tore right open, and it was bleeding pretty bad. that is, she did fall on concrete petty hard.

she was taken inside by the help of her best friend, and the school principal checked it out.
she had a few bandages, literal bandages, put around her knee and her skinny jeans; thankfully not her favourite ones; were cut off into shorts. then again, it was pretty hot outside.

as soon as the two best friends walked outside, and gave one glance to eachother, they burst out laughing.
"oh my god, that hurt so much! but now it's nothing. it must have looked hilarious. i failed so much."
he looked at her seriously, not saying a word for a second.

"actually, i was kind of worried..."
