I am pretty much a canon blastphamist. So I switch up the pairing to my liking and pretty much completely ignore those parts of the show. Like, I ship Germany with almost everyone EXEPT Italy. And on SwedenxFinland, it's. Of all that historically accurate (right now finalnd pretty much hates Sweden) but I love DenSu or SuDen. I like it when Sweden tops -shot- anyway. If I ever did ship SuFin it would be weird. Because in my mind however much Sweden 'loves' Finland, he is still much more sexually attracted to Denmark. Ok, I'm done now -goes back to corner-


EDIT: I just discovered something. The HRE=Germany theory. Whut? Can someone explain to me how this is supposed to sound logical in any way?

There's actually quite a lot of both canon and historical basis for that theory. For quite a while, the Holy Roman Empire was known as the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. It also occupied the land that now belongs to Germany, and they influenced each others culture.
As for Hetalia, Hima has dropped some hints throughout the run of the series that Germany = HRE. One of the most prominent of these occurred near the end of the Buon San Valentino strip located here. Then there are also little things, such as how the two resemble each other, and how in HRE's Marukaite Chikyuu the German words for mom and dad, (Mutti and Vati), are used repeatedly.

Well, it does make a little sence. But Holy Rome was a part of about 8(give or take a few) Countries today. Including the other German countries: Switzerland, Lichtenstein and Austria. And those countries all speak German, as the area was area that used to me owned by the Germanic tribes (germania). But the heart of the holy roman empire was in germany, so it makes sence they look alike. But the fact he speaks German and looks simalar dosent really prove anything.

I decided to change the picture on the first post, just to give it a new look.
But, I can't find a source for the current picture that I just put up, and it makes me feel bad that I can't source it, so I kinda want to change it.
Do any of you happen to have any pictures that you think should be there? Mostly ones with a lot of the characters, and not that long because it would not fit. If you do, please send it to me through a message.
Or, you can just tell me that you want the old picture back. I have it saved so that is not a problem!

Also, please remember to tell me if you changed your username, or do not see yourself on the list!

I like the new picture. Although it looks kinda strange- probably just because I'm used to the old picture! Should we pm if we have a suggestion?

Does anyone know fanfiction websites (for animes other than hetalia although it woul d be awesome for APH to be their too) besides fanfiction.net?

As for the fanfiction sites, I know a few.
I know livejournal.com has some Hetalia, and others. I also use archiveofourown.org a lot for Avenger fanfics. But if you click on the "fandoms" button on the top, you will see that Hetalia has quite a lot and it looks like some others have a few too.
I'm sure there is more, but those are the only ones I know of and use.
