I'll try for this one too! ^^ And I had to put the history first for it to make more sense. XD

Character Name: Haltheros (Haltho)
Character Gender: Male

History: Haltheros is from the city of Solneron. A very light filled, and holy city. It has many giant trees, called Trees of Sol, that are very old. Thousands of years old, which is why they are so tall. Many people live in this city, Monks, refugees, and a pretty little bird species I made called 'Sunbirds'. Haltheros is a Sunbird. Sunbirds are all white, and mostly look the same, though most of the time, people can not look at them long enough to tell their differences. Sunbirds will only communicate with the monks, and are very afraid of other people. They live very high up in the trees, where no human can climb. Haltheros is very different. He's a shapeshifter, a 'Bloodspinner' in my world. You could say he 'fell from the nest' when he was little when he realized he had this human from. He wasn't much of an outcast, but preferred to spend his time around people than other birds. He rarely visits his bird form.

Haltheros was found at a very young age to be skilled with a bow. Which seemed rather odd because people can use bows to kill birds. But Haltheros only uses his bow to kill and ward off enemies. He trained to be a knight when he became the right age. Learning quickly, and skillfully, he became a favorite of the instructors. Solneron does not have Captains or Generals, but he was told to lead many missions. Many people adore Haltheros, but even so, there are many who do not. Haltho can be very ignorant and hubris at times, making people think he is a jerk. But with his ignorance, Haltho often does not see it.

Haltho spends his days practicing with the bow, or enjoying the amazing view of Solneron. He has left the city, but only within a few leagues of it. He does not dare stray very far away from home, for he has a fear of getting lost, and never being able to return to his city. Because of this, he stays home, and uses his knight skills within the city. To catch bandits, goblins that have somehow entered the city, and keep peace in Solneron.

How did he/she get the eye-patch?: Once a noble knight of the city of Solneron(see history), Haltho was sent on a mission with three others to exterminate a troupe of goblins that were troubling travelers in the forest. No travelers were able to get into the city, making for poor business. Haltho and his companions were walking cautiously into the area of the goblins when in fact, they noticed a group of travelers trying to get through! Immediately, Haltho was concerned for their safety, and ran to them. He yelled for them to leave the area, and told them about the goblins. Of course, this frightened the travelers, and they decided to run away, in different directions. Feeling like an idiot, Haltho ran after one of them and grabbed their arm.

"Look," He said, "I didn't mean you were in immediate danger, I just-" Suddenly, and arrow flew past his head. He gasped and pulled the traveler down to protect them. Then, he pulled out his own bow.

"Haltheros!" One of his companions yelled. "Look out!" Haltho had indeed been pointing in wrong direction. Once he realized his mistake, Haltho turned around and shot an arrow, hitting a goblin that had been hiding in a tree above him.

Haltho yelled to his companions to protect the travelers, and get them out of there, because when Halto began to fight, it would get dangerous. He became immersed in his enemies, and nothing else mattered. He fired another shot, hitting a goblin right between the eyes. That was when the goblins realized they were in danger. They all shot their arrows at once, but Haltho was able to escape by releasing his wings and lifting into the sky.

It was hard for him to shoot arrows in the air with complete accuracy, so he resulted in rushing at one of the goblins that was sitting on a tree branch and kicking it to the ground. He claimed the goblin's seat and shot an arrow at him before he hit the ground. At that point, the goblins were giving up. The remaining jumped from the trees and ran away. Haltho was able to hit a few of them before they were out of sight. Thinking he was safe, Haltho breathed deeply and sat down on the branch.

Suddenly, he heard a clank behind him, like a chain being unlatched. Turning to see what was happening, he caught a glimpse of a much larger goblin, possibly a troll, throwing something at him. He leapt from the tree, but not before he was struck in the face by a massive ball of iron. He was thrown to the grassy floor below, and all the wind was knocked out of him. It was only then, that his companions came to help. They were sword wielders, and fought bravely against the giant troll. Haltho tried to sit up, but the hit had knocked him silly. His vision was altered, but he couldn't tell if he had hit his head on the ground or...

Haltho put his hand to his face and felt blood. Oh no... he thought. A wild anger began to form in his belly, and forced its way up to his throat. He let out a furious grunt, and picked up his bow again. His companions had wounded the troll greatly, but it was still standing. Haltho pulled back an arrow and released...missing the troll completely. Shocked, and even angrier than before, he shot another arrow, this time, hitting the troll directly. As the troll fell, having been mortally wounded, Haltho chuckled at himself. Even with my eye gone, I'm still the best shot. For he was indeed, full of himself.

Character Name: Artemis
Character Gender: female
History: Young Life
Artemis was born to a poor family and often went with out dinner. When she was at the age of 9 her father took her into the woods next to her house. When they were in the forest her father reached behind a bush and pulled out a elegant birch and red bow. Artemis let out a small gasp as her father handed her the bow. How did he afford this?!?! She turned the bow over in her hands before looking at her father, eyes glowing.
How did she get the eye-patch?:

Character Name:
Sora Blom/Skye
Character Gender:
Male
How did he get the eye-patch?:
A plane he tried to fly exploded, resulting in Sora's "death", and also him becoming blind in one eye, with a horrible scar.
History:
As a young child, Sora was just a regular little boy, with short blond hair and green eyes, having no wings. He was supposed to be an archer, like the rest of his family, but wished to be a pilot, when planes were first being created. In secret, a thirteen-year-old Sora stole a plane from a nearby city, and tried to fly away, but something went horribly wrong. Sora was killed, but earned a second chance of life. There was one catch: he would return to life in the "past", and would magically age ten years, and he would have to work for a secret organization that he new next to nothing about. Of course, he would also be rewarded for his services. Since planes didn't exist in medieval times, Sora would grow wings.

So, the boy decided to do it. For eight incredibly painful hours which felt like so much longer, Sora aged ten years, gained wings, and one of his eyes got its eyesight back, turning gold. The other eye was beyond repair, even for his saviors, and looked horrible, so Sora covered it up, vowing to never show anyone. Then he joined the organization, earning himself the nickname Skye and a gold earring. In tribute to the father he left behind, Skye learned to shoot, the bow becoming his primary weapon.

Skye's story will continue, and will be written better, as this is just a summary. As soon as I saw the design, I knew this was a character I had to have, to write about. I may edit this later if there is time and I start his actual story.

Character Name: Mathais (Matt)
Character Gender: Male
How did he/she get the eye-patch?: When Mathais first learned how to use a bow, it was accidentally aimed backwards...
History:
    Childhood
Matt was a rambunctious and playful youth, but also very clumsy. He loved to race about with other Elven children and play pranks on the elders. His father, a strong and noble archer, tried to teach him early on how to use a bow. Around 10, he was presented his eye-patch.
    Story of his wings
On an adventurous hunt, after he had mastered his boy and arrow, Mathias decided to try shooting fish at the base of a waterfall. Of course, he was at the top. Aiming carefully in the silence he released. One of his friends crept behind him and scared him. Matt slipped off the edge and fell. He landed on the ground and was thought for sure to be dead. One of the elders brought him back, but he still kept the wings he had been given whilst dead.
    Teenhood
As Mathais grew older, he knew he would have to take his father's place. Since he had become such a great shot, he was allowed to become an archer younger than most others. At the age of 17, the lead archer was wounded by a bear. In fear of dying, he promoted Mathais to lead archer. Matt carried his title with pride and respected it.
    Now
Matt is now around age 21. He left after the leader of the village went mad with power and turned everything into misery. He pursued a life of freedom and excitement, and also pursued the dream of someday finding a girl.

Character Name:
    "I am called Tywolf."
    (Tai-Wolf)

Character Gender:
"Despite my long hair, I am 100% male"

How did he/she get the eye-patch?:
"It belonged to my father, when he was still alive. I look up to him, and still do. I use it to remember him by. It will be further explained in my history, if you would like to listen."

History, told in first person by Tywolf:
When I had just first learned to walk, I was active and wanted to explore the village. It was on a particular night when my father got his eye patch. He used to call it a spoil of war, although I called it a fault of a reckless child. I was quite intelligent, being able to speak phrases and understood quite a few large words. Anyway, so I walked into the forest alone, at night, telling no one about this. I had been walking around, looking up at tall trees that towered above my tiny self, and everything on the ground and in the sky. I had gotten lost after a while, frantically looking for a way back. I finally sat down in front of a large cave and called inside. It was stupid of me, but that was what I did. A moment later, a large bear, with glinting dark black eyes walked out on two feet, glaring down at me. All I did was stare, and waited for the bear's strike.

I was lucky, however, because my father jumped in, right before the bear's large paw struck me. His long blonde hair - I inherited it, I'm proud to say - covered my view as he fought the bear, so I can't tell you the details. I only remember seeing him lift a hand to his face, and the roar of a bear, as it fell to the ground. I saw no blood, but I was afraid. All my father did was turn around, cover his right eye, and then he said, "It's alright, Tywolf."

That was the story of how my father lost his eye, and how I learnt to be less of a careless child. Now, I will tell you a different story. The story about the cold-blooded massacre that had happened in my village - no, to all the elf villages...

I was training my archery that day, sometime on my thirteenth year of my life, my father coaching me, smiling the same way as he had. Every time I looked at him, I felt guilty of what I had done. He was a great archer, and so was he a great warrior, and still could hit a bullseye, but it hurt to know I had caused him to be... one-eyed.
"Good shot," he smiled. I'd barely shot the 'X' he had drawn on the trunk of a tree. It was north-west of the target, perhaps 10 or so centimetres. I shook my head. It was no good. "Just a little more practice." He held me in a neck-hold playfully. I laughed, and he joined me. I never forgot the girlish hint in his voice. His voice was... beautiful, you could say. It soothed people. It was odd, because it usually would be a females, wouldn't it? Anyway, it was seconds after he had held me in a neck-hold when a fellow elf walked up to us with a warning.
"The humans!" he panted. "They have come!"

Now, humans had lived in peace with us elves. We often traded goods, and sometimes worked in the cities, or even got wed to them, but that was all before the coronation of the new king. I must not say his name, as it is a taboo to us elves. He had ordered everyone who had anything to do with us elves put to death. We elves were outcasted, criminals, all because of the king's hatred. Why did he hate us? That was a question no elf could answer - but we did find out one thing. He hated us for no reason. Anyway, back to the story...

My father's eyes widened with the warning.
"My son..." he muttered, "he's not ready yet."
I was hurt by those words, but I knew he was right. I couldn't do anything to save the village.
He looked at me, his eyes filled with concern, and he said with a shaky breath, "Look for your mother."
I nodded, unable to disobey him. I raced to the village. There was no way we could win the humans. They had armour and guns and technology. All we had were bows and quivers, swords and animals, although most animals didn't listen to us a lot.

I burst out into the open, calling for my mother. I ran through the curtains and looked at the fair figure with long, flowing brown-almost-black hair and a young child, a boy with light brown hair. My mother and my brother, young and fragile, only a mere two year old, cradled in her arms. My sister, a six year old with hair like my mother's, and skin so white like snow, slept on the bed. I didn't want to disturb them, but I had to.
"It's horrid!" my voice quivered. "The humans! They are coming!"
    It startled my sister. "Humans?"
I nodded and looked at my mother. The wings I had inherited, were stretched behind her - oh, and the wings signify that she is of royal elf blood. She was brought down from her position a long time ago when the first king had come, so it didn't really matter. Her face had turned from a peaceful, calm lady, to a horrified, angry woman.
"Humans.." she hissed. Finally, she got up from her chair, walked to the bed, and set my brother down. She walked to her closet and took her old war outfit, an outfit with a metal plating over the chest and leather everywhere else. "Tell them to get ready."
I nodded, and like I had done before, ran to warn the others.

I readied myself with a bow and a quiver, just random stuff I had found in the weaponry. I took position somewhere high in the trees - it was normal to learn to climb a tree for an elf, see - and I kept watch over my parents and fellow villagers. We had not many soldiers, but they had the willpower. A horn was blown and the royal army was in sight. The onslaught began.

I shot as many arrows as I could, hoping to not hit an elf. I watched each of them, furiously whipping out an arrow after the other. I remember the fear that crawled my back. I averted my eyes to my mother. She was holding strong, but her wing was cut at many places. My hand trembled as I took aim for the soldier. I let it go, and it whizzed past my mother's head. It hit the soldier in the forehead - my first bullseye. My mother turned, nodded, her face proud and strong, then raced to another opponent. I smiled - but it fell apart when I heard a gun shot. My mother stopped in her tracks and collapsed. My eyes widened as I watched each elf fell to the ground. I gasped, seeing a guns man take aim at me. Quickly, I hopped off the tree expertly and ran into the wilderness.

Although I say 'wilderness', I knew my way. I had lived in the forest for thirteen years, and I remembered every single nook and cranny of it. Night had fallen, and I was tired. I hadn't stopped running since they had seen me. I leaned against a tree, feeling the bark scratch me. I slid against the rough trunk and sat in a squat. I crossed my arms, burying my head in them, and for the first time in twelve years, I cried.

The sun rose the next morning, waking me. I opened my tired, puffy eyes and stared into the sky.
    "Mother," I whispered. "Father."
I shook my head and stood up. I had to go back. I had to. I turned around, and retracing my steps, I found my way back. I felt sick to the bones, looking at those dead elves on laying on the ground. Those nasty humans didn't even bother digging them a grave, or a pit. I bit my bottom lip as I stepped closer to my mother. She was facing the ground. I turned her over and gasped little breaths as I saw her shocked expression. I raised my hand and closed her eyes. I brought her to me, hugging her. Next, I walked to my father's body. He was cold, like my mother. I knelt beside him. Carefully, I tipped him over. He, like my mother, had a shocked expression. I did the same, though I couldn't close the other eye. I took the eye patch off, and for the first time, I saw the eye beneath it. The eye was colourless - blind. I got up slowly, his eye patch in hand, and walked to our village - and remembered my siblings.

I ran, not walked, really, but same thing. I got to the village, and it too, had been massacred. I choked back a sob, and raced to my hut. The tiny bodies of my siblings were stained with blood, my sister's limbs all twisted in weird angles. She was tortured. I couldn't help it, but to cry once more. My brother's head was on a weird angle. I hugged both their lifeless bodies and let the tears roll down my face.

The rivers were clear, the village was awkwardly, for the first time, solemn. No birds sung, trees didn't rustle, the wind didn't blow. Nothing mattered to me now. I looked at my reflection and punched it swiftly. I should've stayed and let myself die. I clenched my fist, then looked into my hand. The eye patch. I had it. I breathed shakily, calming myself, then knelt to wash the eye patch. I hung it on a neighbour's clothes line, and walked back to my home. I gathered all the useful things - food, water, a quiver of arrows, my father's bow, my mother's other pair of daggers - and stuffed them into a bag. I remembered to prepare a funeral for each of my neighbours, but to save valuable time, I dug a pit covered it over and placed a rock above it. I wrote everyone's names on it. Again, I knelt before it and whispered, "Rest in peace, fellow elves."

Quickly, I walked towards the village once more. The eye patch had to be dried by now. I took the eye patch and placed it over my own eye.
"I will remember you," I said, imagining the villagers still walking about. "Goodbye."

why does he/she wear the eye-patch?: Baceteria {Going to go more in depth}
History:
It wasn't because of some great battle, or someones mistake shootintg an arrow, or even a bird. A crow pulling out my eye, beleiving it was a jewel. The ridiculouse ideas of this time, they were almost fairy tail riddle. But that is what people relied on these days. My city lives around rumors it seams. Like rumor is a person, placed in the center of the universe and there he stands, on a pedastool made of emotions. Envy, grief, pity, Self-hatred, disgust, cruelty and meschviose little bugs of emotion. It, or rather he made you self conciose. He boggled your mind in confusion. And he coruppted your thoughts, it seamed impossible to stop him when he spread so well. God... this was like saying he's got propganda as well as Hitler way back in the time Natzi's almost took over. He practically is the propaganda.
We're very well far away from that time, it's been thousands of years. It's all very much back into history, but somehow you learn about him here, in the little schools with silver steps and large echoing halls.

As a baby, I wasn't even half blind. 20/20 vision, perfect. So... why the eyepatch? It isn't because I thought it was cool, or that I think it looks good or whatever. It's because;

..Way back then..
Flash back
As a child.. I was very sick. One eye of mine was that, red of a rubies and the other golden. I was born with that not knowing that my eye was red for a diffeerent reason than coloring defects. For you see.. I was very sick.
New to a desease worse than anything. I toddled about, not knowing that soon-

Male
why does he/she wear the eye-patch?:
His eye is completely white their, and sometimes {Depending on his mood} It changes different colors. He also doesn't want people to know he has "it." {Reason why in history}
History:
Kiro was born a normal child, both eyes wear their normal colors. He was sick though. His parents wear worried, and feared he wouldn't make it. They tried and tried to save him, with everything they have. It never worked though. Then they went to their last resort. Far away their was the pool of life. They hoped that it would save him. Taking him their he was on his last breath. The pool wouldn't just give anyone life, without taking something. Like the old saying goes, an eye for an eye. An ear for an ear. The pool though had to give him a heart. Their was only one heart in him so he couldn't just take it back. So it decided to take something that Kiro had that many others had also. His eye. It didn't just take his eye. The pool was getting low, so many people had stolen from him. He was low on resorts, but all beings shed tears. And in those tears he could store what the very few deserved. Life.

Kiro was able to live, sadly though, not in peace. After word spread about what the water in his body could do, they wanted it. That water also flowed freely threw his blood. Those people would kill for just a drop. Kiro had to be ready for what fate would throw at him. He had to pick his friends wisely, and defend himself from thieves. The only thing he knew how to use though, was a bow and arrow. He had only used it a few times, but his poor family could not afford fancy guns or anything like that. So he trained. Trained till his shoulder stung from being flung back to grab the arrows. He trained, until his fingers bled from pulling back the string. He trained, till he couldn't train anymore. Soon Kiro was an expert, he could defend himself, and others if he had too. He no longer worried if he would be ambushed on the trails in the forest, he was now free. At least as free as he could be. He had to wear an eye patch, when he goes out. He isn't ashamed, he's careful. Almost no one knows his secret besides his parents. And he doesn't want anyone to find out. So he leaves secluded, only to see those he must see. His friends though, are loyal they only know he is a wanted man. They do not know his secret, he may tell one day. He just doesn't know when. Maybe when it's safe? Maybe when he's on his last breath. That is if he could die.

With the water of life flowing threw him, he hardly ages. When he is 60 he will look like he is only 25. If he is hurt {Scraps not neck sliced open like being murdered} he only stings for a second, and it's gone. He secretly walks threw the night, healing those who are in desperation, and haven't done anything wrong to deserve this.

Kiro, has the touch of life.
