Me too. They changed it to flying islands...I kid you not.

And as far as I can tell, all then new ones don't have classic portals. >> That was the biggest part of the worlds! You had the home world, and other worlds you could get through with the portals, then the portals that take you to other home worlds/let you fight the boss again (or whatever form they came in, balloon guy, the spinny thing or the balloon/whirly-gig/rocket)

Why? why? Spyro, Pokemon, digimon all got changed in some way...

(I haven't been watching digimon, but) Yes! They are trying to make profit rather than appleal to the fans. Old Spyro games were prefect, the game was chanelling, but still fun, all the controlls were so easy (X = jump, XX =glide, XX /\= hover, X /\ ground pound, O =flame, []= charge, /\= look/aim) in the Wii/PS3 games Spyro can slow time and do "rage attacks". What's a rage attack?! (I played the Wii game and could not get the controlls..). Now the games is just for kids >>

And Pokemon, I see tons of amazing fake pokemon on DA, and they based a new one off a garbage bag (Trubbish)....I think that was symbolic...I like the game play, but the pokemon were a bit weak... >> Pokemon makers! Hire the people on DA!

yeah I know right, I used to watch Pokemon anime until they chucked misty out , changed the voice actors and changed the looks, they r not even in 4kids studios anymore, old days when people used to rush back from school to watch the anime or play a spyro game...

All of the good things get turned bad in time... I'm a '90s kid and it seems that's what happened to all the good stuff from then. Its so sad...
