Kermen Island used to hold all sorts of magical, mysterious wonders. Including the Rauko (Pronounced Rok-u), or Demons in the Elvish language, are decendants of the anchient race Gurtha Rauko, or Death Demon. The Gurtha Rauko hunted the Templa Huan. They hunted them to near extintion. The remaining Templa Huans got together and cast a spell, with their dying breaths, they changed their species into the now existing Edhal Huan, and banished the Gurtha Rauko to another plane of existance. They have now lived for thousands of years in a parallel plane to Kemen Island called Gurtha Palurin, named after the dead race of demons before them. Upon this plane a strange thing happened to the Rauko, they began to develop elemental powers. In time, each demon controlled a elemental power.
The Rauko's powers don't usually
manifest til they have come of age.
All Raukos are born with silvery eyes,
that will clear after they have come of
age. Their powers are subtle, (meaning
they can't shoot fireballs out of their
mouths.) They can only manipulate
the elements that aleadyexist (such
as if there is water near by they can
manipulate), not manifest the actual
element. That is why they tend to
live near there respective elements.
• Fire: Fire is a volitale and untamable
element. Those that have conquered
fire are determined and very passionate
(not in a sexual way. ._.) They are
represeted by the colors red and orange.
• Electricity: Elecrticity is a erratic and crazy
element. Those who control electricity are
very hyper and seem a bit strange. They
are represented by the color yellow.
• Earth: Earth is a sturdy and dependable
element. Those who have mastered earth
are strong and un-yielding. They are
represented by the colors green and brown.
• Water: Water is a smooth and calming
element. Those who call upon water are
yielding and gentle. They are represented
by the color blue.
• Ice: Ice is a frigid and slow-moving
element. Those who manipulate ice are
patient, yet stubborn. They are
represented by the color white.
• Air: Air is a graceful and quiet element.
Those can use air are simple demons,
and prefer quiet. They are represented
by the color grey.
• Shadow: Shadow is a menacing and
dangorous element. Those who can manifest
shadow are mean-spirited and dark demons.
They are represented by the color black.

remember the Artists are the mods. So

The Rauko are about 4 feet at shoulder height, and because of their smaller body structure they weight from 130-160 lbs.The Rauko are usually brown or grey colors, with markings either a shade of their pelt or the color of their power. Their markings are either markings found in nature (such as stripes, spots, etc.), or simple rune-like markings. Their eyes are always the color that coordinates with their power. While all Rauko are generally skinny, males being bigger then females. Males also have a slightly fluffier mane than females, which males will fluff up to look bigger during mating season or in a fight. They all have very long and thin tails, which they use to balance when they climb trees or the rocky mountains.
Rauko are relatively immune to diseases and as a result of this they tend to live around 70 or so years. If a Rauko is captured will die soon after, it is a defense mechanism they all have. Raukos come of age at 3 years, and then they are initiated into the clan.
Raukos live in small groups called Alye' (Pronounced Aa-lie) consisting of no more than 5. These Alye' are lead by only one male that is of age. Males are very territorial and will only band together during mating season or to take over another territory. Females are usually the ones hunt, and they all raise a litter collectively.
The Nessas (Pronounced Neiss-a), or pups, will stay with their parents until they come of age, then the males will venture out to start their own Alye', the females can either stay or venture. Rauko will usually have litters of about 3 or 4 Nessas. To have more or less is very rare. Some Rauko can be born with a docked tail. These Rauko do have some trouble climbing, but can usually adapt.
For the most part elements stay with their elements, but it is not unusual to see them mix. The male are usually more intune to their elements emotions and act of them more frequently.
In Gurtha Palurin, the few animals that are edible there are the Draug (Pronounced Dru-og), a small wolf-like species that live in the forests, the Lingwe (Pronounced Linn-we), a small fish-like species that lives in the rivers, the Dulin (Pronounced Du-lon), a bird-like species that lives all over, and the Roch, a deer-like species that lives in the mountains.
