The smaller brownish pup lowered his head. "Oh no. Were no threat to you-" Hiko shushed him again. "If you have a pack why are you back here? Don't you know it's dangerous? There's a bunch of tough old yearlings." He wrinkled his nose, his eyes widening. The brownish pup spring to the side covering his head with his paws. "Jockey away!" Hiko dived at Avery, tackling her to the side, three brute yearlings charging out in the middle of the woods. Thorn's eyes wide, the giant yearling's leg crashed under her and she went flinging to his face, her fur... melted?.. from the impact on her stomach and thorns formed around her shoulders as she crashed into the brutes face. She stuck like a procepine, the brute yearling screaming in pain, his scream much like a she pup. Thorn's thorns finally melted and she reformed normal, slipping off the male's face, onto the floor. Thorn bared her teeth in pain, that kick hurt so much, it felt like her ribs broke or something. The male yearling growled, he was just about to kill little Thorn, when he went sliding towards a nearby tree. Rebuke growled at the yearlings. They were clearly afraid, but their stares were torture, they didn't seem normal either... They had glimmering red eyes, staring at Rebuke as they stalked off to leave him alone. Rebuke lowered his head, his haunches dropping, his ears flickered as he looked at the pups behind him, they were off to the side, away from the danger. Thorn was directly in front of his paws, whimpering in pain. Rebuke huffed. How to go through with this... Tell the whole pack?... Nah. That's a big burden...
Lilith huffed. "I know... What should we do to strengthen them?... What would help?..." She said softly, closing her eyes. She didn't want to be useless... She hated being useless...
